RE: 199 day of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. Chronicles of war. Death of the Queen of Britain.

World is at a cross roads, being pushed to and fro, yes we continue.

May the war soon be written in history as another waste of humanity.

Fascinating Queen who ruled, disciplined life, something we will not see again.

!LUV Thanks for the update.

The queen for me has been that 100% stability all my life. In the world, there could be various revolutions, various diseases, wars, crises and everything else, but the Queen was there. And she is a kind of anchor of stability.
You can relate to her as an individual and to the monarchy in general in different ways, I know that not all British people like the presence of the royal family + many countries have a negative attitude towards her because they were British colonies. And I understand that. But she was simply the personification of stability as a public person. 70 years of rule. My grandparents, my parents and I were born during this time.
It's like Michael Jackson or Stephen King to me.

I dream that wars will become just history that will be studied. All wars. And there will be no new ones. And our descendants will not be afraid of thunder thinking that it is a rocket. I don't understand why the people of the world can't just live in peace.

Many will never realize the stabilizing effect this woman has quietly brought into the world standing steadfast in her duties.

Some very disturbing things have appeared from certain elements in our region, one can only hope one day this hatred held disappears as it takes no one anywhere.

My Aunt born in London went over for the coronation as a young woman herself, made the age of 100 in 2005.

We had the good fortune of seeing Michael Jackson live in Durban, Stephen King books by family, except for me !LOLZ

History is something we should be aware of, as my Dad taught me "if you don't know where you come from, how do you know where you going", we need to live together, wars have never resolved issues.

Thoughts and wishes for everything that is good, coming your way soon....

We have a similar good saying, like your dad's, from the Ukrainian poet Maksym Rylsky - "who does not know his past, is not worthy of the future, and does not know about the glory of his ancestors, he is not worthy of respect".
very close to what your dad said. And I also remember - "who does not respect his army, will feed someone else's." As a teenager, I thought it was about a contract army. and now I understand that it is not. this is about the occupiers

Our parents went to war for good reason, hence trying to teach through sayings to remember.

Definitely have heard how lands were burned destroying everything in it's wake, that carries consequences to everyone in a region.
