The news of the last hour is the evacuation of the military from Azovstal. On May 11, Iryna Vereshchuk reported that negotiations were underway on the exchange of seriously wounded fighters from both sides. And today information appeared (first in the russian propaganda media) that the evacuation of fighters from Azovstal had begun. Reuters wrote about 10 buses, but the details are not yet known yet.

І сьогодні з'явилася інформація (спочатку у російських пропагандистських ЗМІ) про те, що евакуація бійців із Азовсталі розпочалася. Reuters написав про 10 автобусів, але деталі поки що невідомі.
Later, an appeal was published by the commander of the Azov regiment Denys Prokopenko, in which he stated that the defenders of Mariupol had complied with the order of the top military leadership and preserved the most valuable asset in any war, which is the personnel. We are not animals, and human life and its freedom are the most important thing for us.
Пізніше було опубліковано звернення командира полку "Азов" Дениса Прокопенка, в якому він заявив про те, що захисники Маріуполя виконали наказ вищого військового керівництва та зберегли найцінніше у будь-якій війні – особовий склад. Також у зверненні він заявив про те, що "сподівається на розуміння українського народу". Я думаю, що висловлю думку багатьох, якщо скажу, що хлопці – справжні герої та трималися стільки, скільки треба було. Ми не звірі, і людське життя та його свобода – це найважливіше.

Під час візиту до Берліна Дмитро Кулеба говорив про те, що набуття Україною статусу кадидата неминуче, і Німеччина може або очолити цей процес або залишитися осторонь історії. Вірю, що ці слова стануть пророчими.

Sweden has officially decided that it will join NATO. The same decision was previously announced by Finland. Their northern neighbors - Denmark, Norway and Iceland - as well as the United States, have announced that they will provide defense support to Sweden and Finland if they are attacked before joining NATO. Propaganists in russia, of course, have been spraying poison on live television for the past few days and threatening to launch nuclear strikes on countries that want to defend their sovereign territories, explaining this by saying that "NATO expansion threatens them" (familiar, right?). putin himself gave back in his NATO rhetoric and said that this step does not threaten russia. What else could he say? If he wanted to stop the expansion of NATO, the only thing he achieved by his actions was precisely to contribute to this expansion.
Швеція офіційно вирішила, що вступатиме до НАТО. Таке саме рішення раніше оголосила Фінляндія. Їхні північні сусіди - Данія, Норвегія та Ісландія - а також США заявили про те, що нададуть оборонну підтримку Швеції та Фінляндії у разі, якщо на них нападуть до моменту вступу до НАТО. Пропагандисти в Росії, природно, останні кілька днів бризкали отрутою у прямих ефірах і погрожували завдати яєрних ударів по країнах, які хочуть обороняти свої суверенні території, пояснюючи це тим, що "розширення НАТО їм загрожує" (знайомо, правда?). Сам же путін дав задню у своїй риториці щодо НАТО і заявив, що цей крок не загрожує росії. Що ж він міг сказати? Якщо він і хотів зупинити розширення НАТО, єдине, чого він досягнув своїми діями - це саме сприяння цьому розширенню.
