RE: Ukraine's identity - is the fight for freedom

When I first moved to Kharkiv in Spring of 2021, I was surprised by how little regard most Ukrainians had for their country. Today, the entire civilized world is rallying behind Ukraine and there's not a Ukrainian alive who would trade their Ukrainian citizenship for any other. What a difference a year makes.
Russia has already lost. They just aren't dead enough to know it yet.

Thank you! Yes, you are right, a couple of years ago I knew very little about my country in general and did not have much patriotism. Believe it or not, Russia has worked very hard to hide our history from us Ukrainians. I was born in those days when there was no Internet yet, and all my childhood was spent in the "dome of Russian propaganda that Ukraine is not a special country." And only now we somehow began to understand that there is an Internet and you can find out the truth :)
