Курган имеет длину 440 м и высоту до 1 м. Название говорит о том, что форма кургана – змея, которая изгибается согласно рельефу. Голова змеи утыкается в скалу, а хвост закручен в три кольца. Рядом с курганом обнаружены захоронения культуры Адена. | В Болгарии есть удивительный феномен – каменный лес. Он находится в восемнадцать км от Варны и занимает площадь 7кв. км. Это по настоящему природный естественный уникальный комплекс каменных колон, которые разбросаны группами. При этом они пустотелы и обезглавлены. Их высота шесть–восемь м. Возраст колонн более 50 миллионов лет. Согласно одной из версий эти колонны образовались в результате коралловой деятельности высохшего моря, по другой – это окаменевшие древние породы деревьев. Есть и фантастические версии про инопланетян и древние обсерватории… Формы колонн разнообразны, но каждая имеет своё название: слон, солдат, монах, сторож, водопад… Есть колонны, которые образуют целые композиции, которые тоже имеют уникальные имена.
