Another reason for visiting this bare village was "Chantella", a beautiful four months old girl fox who has been living with this couple from childhood. This couple is not a fox breeder but they own three beautiful foxes.

I live in Hungary, and I know a few people living with at least one fox, but it is indeed an exotic pet. I live with a Harris's hawk. She is currently at the vet, because she broke her left leg yesterday by a jump, after she became scared by a tractor.

There was nothing at all as far my eyes could see. People use cars and buses mostly to travel to the city.

This is similar to my village. Nowadays I live in a small dead end village in the Northern Great Plain region of Hungary. Nowadays approximately only 200 people lives here.

I just read your post and came to know about your pet, so sorry to hear that and I hope she is doing fine. Honestly, this experience was new to me, I saw some people love to have snakes or porcupines and have never seen a fox before...

Hmm then I am sure you do know about the experience of living in such villages... Quiet challenging I must say...

I will know more about her in the evening later.

Yes. Especially with multiple disabilities under the local minimum wage.

Ya completely agree with you, I am glad I saw it with my own eyes...

The fox looks beautiful. I like foxes 🦊. I didn't even know that you can have a pet fox. I always thought they were wild. Foxes are rarely seen in the town where I live. Guess to much humans live here. But I saw some a few time when I drove outside of the town. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I also had no idea about having a fox under the same roof, their nature is amazing, I won't say they are like other pets but they can be a companion too. They show affection to their owner which made me so curious, to be honest... I always love the countryside, so much to see, learn and explore...

Thank you so much...

Wow what an experience. Such a lovely looking fox and it must be a thrill to be close to such an animal!

The ground there looks to be of decent quality and fertile but I am sure those muddy road become nearly impossible in the winter. I can see why live must be bleak for them.

Ya meeting such an exotic animal was a unique experience to me, felt so good by touching her...

Life is hard there after talking to the locals even in winter, they struggle a lot with snow and harsh weather. It becomes almost impossible for them to stay outside or go somewhere for a trip or emergency work. That's why the population is so less there. But the land is fertile though...
