I live in a Metropolitan city but I always prefer to go to the countryside for relaxation. A sudden long drive or road trip or maybe a picnic always makes me happy. Here people love summer especially those places near waterbody or riverside areas. Totally opposite scenario of Bangladesh. Bangladeshi people always prefer winter because it is summer dominating the country with humidity. So mild winter always welcomes there. On the other hand, Ukraine stays covered in the snow for almost 5 months so people adore summer here. I always feel nostalgic when I think about my transition point of life, it was a big move adjusting myself from 30 degrees celsius to -20 degrees celsius.
Forest areas or social forest areas are my preference to relax and do BBQ parties. Not only you will enjoy the shady calmness vibes in the forest but also you will get the chance to meet unwanted guests as well. This spring I went to a BBQ party that happened near the Lozovenka River resort and forest area. I must say it was a perfect place to spend a day with good food.
Everything was so fresh and the smell of the wood and burned meat was amazing...
It was the middle of the day and kids were playing in s shaded area. There was a place to play handball near the riverbank. Many people were playing handbell and some were taking swimming in the river. Few of them were trying to catch fishes for fish BBQ as well, some were lucky though because the river was full of fishes. If anyone wants to go there, they need proper transportation, most people use their private transports.
During the middle of the day when the sun was middle of the sky, it was trying to peep behind the trees. The forest area was warm during mid-day but due to the river, the cool breeze was blowing and created mild and pleasant atmospheric temperature. The sky was so blue and clear and white clouds were floating from here to there.
All I was hearing the sound of woods and birds. The river was calm and one of the quietest rivers I have seen so far. This is basically a village area and you will notice village people here as well. There were cow and horse farms nearby.
By the way, this was a training center before but now this is abandoned and nobody lives there. Floors were already broken including the stair case. No glass panels, nothing available there except some broken pieces of furniture.
I have spent almost 2 hours there sitting in the woods. It was not because I was trying to avoid direct hot sunlight, but also I was preferring to spend my time in the middle of large trees. I was hearing the song of the birds and the buzzing sound of the bees. Forest has a smell and has a mysterious sound, it was not a deep forest so it was completely safe. You can see many people were spending time near the river those who haven't book the cottages for themselves. They basically were spending few hours there only and left before sunset.
It was a memorable day for me...
Until next time... Have a nice day everyone...
