I have always wondered for what Christians fast as well. Is it to feel the pain of Christ? I have also read that they don't eat beef and egg, why?

Christians eat beef and eggs. On the contrary, it is the main food in the Easter basket of most Ukrainians :) Maybe you have heard that there are vegans who do not eat meat and eggs? I imagine my return to Ukraine cleansed of ancestral sins and the prosperity of a bright future nation!
