Well, I roamed the local beer bars too, I vividly remember this one : https://horsebrass.com/
I sampled a super-bitter IPA there, called Yellow Snow. No wonder Frank Zappa advises to not to lick the yellow snow. It was linked to huskies in the song of his, but it's true anyways.
Well, I was there just a couple of years ago :)) And they hardly let me in - kids are allowed to breweries here, we even have children playgrounds there, but you need to be 21 to be able to even sneak a peak in the US :)
Some places allow kids but they have to be separated from the "bar/tavern" area. Alcohol can be in either area and the separation device can be as minimal as a velvet rope. We seem to send a lot of mixed signals. lol.

Small world. My dad use to sing there in the late 80s early 90s I think it was.
"Watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow" good old Frank. 😜

That's how such venues look like in my country: https://ecency.com/hive-187719/@godfish/lobec-steam-powered-brewery
The bar is cool, though, I loved it even without your dad singing there :))
