Les quiero compartir en esta oportunidad nuestra primera invitación a un cumpleaños en Argentina. En esta oportunidad fuimos invitados al cumpleaños número 8 de Lourdes, quien es sobrina de mi cuñado. La temática de esta fiesta fue Merlina.
El evento fue el pasado sábado 19 de agosto, en Avellaneda, provincia de Buenos Aires (yo vivo en Capital Federal) aproximadamente a 30 minutos en auto desde mi casa. Nos pusimos manos a la obra, tomando un taxi porque (para variar) íbamos tarde. Las fiestas en salones tienen un horario algo reducido y bastante estricto. Debíamos estar en el lugar a la 1.30 y a esa hora íbamos saliendo de la casa 😒 (culpa de mi esposo, como siempre jaja)

Greetings to all the mommies and daddies in this community.... 😗
I want to share with you in this opportunity our first invitation to a birthday party in Argentina. This time we were invited to the 8th birthday of Lourdes, who is my brother-in-law's niece. The theme of this party was Merlina.
The event was last Saturday, August 19, in Avellaneda, province of Buenos Aires (I live in Capital Federal) approximately 30 minutes by car from my house. We got to work, taking a cab because (for a change) we were running late. Parties in salons have a somewhat reduced and quite strict schedule. We had to be at the place at 1.30 and at that time we were leaving the house 😒 (my husband's fault, as always haha).
Llegamos al salon, ubicado en la Av. Eva Duarte de Perón, y lo primero que notamos al entrar es la enorme mesa de dulces con una torta preciosa y una piñata lindisima, debo destacar que todo estaba espectacular, la torta riquisima. En una celebración argentina falta de todo menos comida amigos.
Los papis de Lulu contrataron una animadora para jugar con los chicos y les pintara las caritas, hizo gatitos para todos jajaja

Miranda, como buena hija mia que es, heredó lo torpe, en serio TODO SE NOS CAE, habia una decoración inspirada en "dedos" que era para que los nenes se tomaran fotos... adivinen quien la dejó caer y "dedos" perdió un dedo?? SI. mi hija. 😝 mayor verguenza pasé, pero ni modo... ya no tenía mas solución que disculparme. Les enseño evidencia jaja

We arrived at the hall, located on Eva Duarte de Perón Avenue, and the first thing we noticed when we entered was the huge candy table with a beautiful cake and a very nice piñata, I must emphasize that everything was spectacular, the cake was delicious. In an Argentinian celebration, everything is missing except food, my friends.
Lulu's parents hired an entertainer to play with the kids and paint their faces, she made kittens for all of them hahaha.
Miranda, as a good daughter of mine, inherited the clumsy, seriously EVERYTHING FALLS OFF, there was a "fingers" inspired decoration for the kids to take pictures... guess who dropped it and "fingers" lost a finger? YES. my daughter. 😝 I was even more embarrassed, but no way... I had no solution but to apologize. I show you evidence haha
Para los adultos también había jueguitos, en este caso mete gol, que creo que en mi pais se llama "futbol de mesa" ... y ahi estaba mi esposo dandolo todo en la cancha, se puso la 10 y perdió jajaja
Ahhh pero mientras tanto mama y bebe gatita estaban en lo de siempre...
Llegó la hora de cortar el pastel y no pude evitar extrañar el "ay que noche tan preciosa", aquí la versión del cumpleaños dura 15 segundos jajaja
Las piñatas tampoco las "tumban" con palo, son muy lindas pero el papi se sube en algo alto y deja caer los caramelos sobre los chicos que esperan en la parte de abajo.
La pasamos super bien, a las 5.30 (como estaba calculado) ya todo había terminado, nos despedimos y tomamos un taxi de regreso a casa.

For the adults there were also little games, in this case "goal scoring", which I think in my country is called "table soccer" ... and there was my husband giving it all on the field, he put on the 10 and lost hahahaha.
It was time to cut the cake and I could not help but miss the "oh what a beautiful night", here the birthday version lasts 15 seconds hahahaha
The piñatas are not "knocked down" with a stick either, they are very cute but the daddy climbs on something high and drops the candy on the kids waiting at the bottom.
We had a great time, at 5.30 (as planned) everything was over, we said goodbye and took a cab back home.
Agradecidos con Maxi, Marisa y Lulu por la invitación, pasamos un tiempo lindo, Miranda disfrutó muchísimo y lo maás importante es que Lulu disfrutó su día especial.

Siiii le falta emoción al cumpleaños jaja. Tener al niño esperando 5 minutos para soplar la velita le da suspenso al asunto jajajaja gracias por leerme.

Las decoraciones estaban hermosas y si, habia mucho frio. Al punto que los chicos no pudieron usar el parque del salón porque está en exterior.
