Kids will be kids... And it's our job keep it that way
Sometimes as parents we think that children should be a certain way, without forgetting that what is really important is that they learn to adapt to their personality and way of being..... Perhaps due to stress, lack of patience, or even not knowing how to tolerate frustration, we often forget that stage where they, our children, what they do best is play and have fun.
As a mother, I must say that the moments I treasure the most when I close my eyes and play with time, are undoubtedly linked to seeing my daughter playing, laughing out loud and being totally happy. A child who, what she does best, is to be absolutely joyful. For nothing, in my house, she represents joy for me, as she does for all of us. Forgive me, I feel it is an honour and at the same time a privilege to be able to be part of, to witness that spontaneity.
In the pictures you see, you will see a little girl who knows best how to be just that, a happy and healthy little girl. During that visit to the park, games were part of her afternoon. Running, jumping, skipping, jumping, screaming, asking to be photographed, and above all, letting me be part of these moments, are some of the things that seriously, almost immediately, I must admit I will always have in my memories? You know that feeling of knowing that we are witnessing an unforgettable moment? That's how I felt.
She is inspiring, and for many reasons, I love to be infected with the sweetness of her childhood. And I'll confess something else.... It's not easy for me, you know? I mean, being the mother of such an adorable little girl. It's hard for me to maintain a separation between my role as a mother, and also being her friend in her happy moments. She is my greatest and best creation, the very source of my love and above all my motivation each and every day. She is a little person in the making, a child who has fun and plays to be happy. With no other objective.
And this last point is important to remember, but above all to keep in mind. Children should not be behavioural machines like military cadets, no! They should live their stages of life in a full and satisfactory way. Being full, happy and in an environment that favours the best conditions for their correct integral development. Love, understanding, companionship and education are fundamental, but above all they must know that they can count on our trust and complicity. Children will be children, and it is more than fine for them to be so.
Letting children enjoy their spontaneity, innocence and joy is the best thing to do. They don't have to be a specific way, they should be themselves. That's the way it is. Nice reflection. Beautiful your princess.
Yes, dear @doriangel . For me, we can't take away what make them real pure, their childhood. So, they need to be real happy and free
How much reason in your words, sometimes we forget that they are children. As mothers we have to be patient with them. This job as a mother is not easy.
I never said it was an easy job... I'm with you, sister @helimar but we need to be more open with them. Learn from them and be just right next to our kids.
Thats great to see you all happily bonding with that kind of fun. playing go down the slides , facepainting. I want to but my child is a toddler. soon we will go like that soon she get bigger.
Trust me,love. You will be there sooner than expected. And you'll have so much fun and joy together
