Sharing a little glimpse into our day. My youngest had his pre-kindergarten graduation photoshoot at school today, and he was so excited! It really struck me how naturally comfortable he and his classmates are in front of the camera. I can't help but compare it to my own childhood, I remember school photos being a source of pure anxiety for me. But kids these days, they're naturals, and I'm… still working on it! lol

We had a hilarious time getting my son into his little blue toga for his pre-kindergarten graduation photoshoot. He was a bundle of playful energy! But when it was his turn, the photographer had to give him a gentle reminder about keeping his tongue in because he keeps doing wacky poses. He took it a bit too seriously, though, and went from comedian to stoic statue. We couldn't help but laugh at his intense focus as we saw he smiles on his face completely disappeared!

My son's portrait took five shots, plus two group photos with his teacher. Once he was finished, we joined the waiting crowd as the rest of the class took their turns. The classroom was a lively scene, with kids who were done playing and buzzing with energy. I honestly thought keeping them quiet for a group photo would be a disaster. But the photographer and his team were incredibly skilled at handling such young children. They kept everyone engaged and in place, they are such professionals.
The teachers gave out special stamps to reward all the kids for their cooperation, which was a sweet gesture. Naturally, there were a few moments of tears from some of the younger children, but ultimately, the photos turned out wonderfully. We're excited to see the printed photos when they're distributed at the graduation ceremony.
The children are about to dive into graduation practice, learning their routines and special performances. Thankfully, the teachers keep it light and playful, making sure they enjoy every moment. The children are happily singing along, effortlessly memorizing their graduation song without any pressure.
With graduation practice now in full swing, we're looking forward to celebrating these little stars as they move on to the next chapter. We're so grateful for the wonderful teachers who make learning so much fun.
