**As a mother or a parent, what are you willing to do for the sake of your children? **
Hello to all moms out there by the way I am a newbie on this platform and I want to give a glimpse about myself I am 35 years old from the Philippines and a mother of two daughters namely cleofe my eldest she's now 14 years old and her younger sister named Sophia she's becoming 10 years old this coming October 2.
Responsibility for being a mother
I know when we become a mother we have our responsibility to give them proper care, love, clothing, shelter, education providing health care, and our presence is the most important thing to give them to guide when they grow up. But what if a mother needs to go abroad so that she can provide for the needs and wants of their children?
I am a working mother as a Domestic Helper in Kuwait
It was 2016 when I decided to work abroad it is the hardest decision I ever had. But being a mother who is willing to do everything so that they can not experience hardship in life I need to do this for their own sake.
Being far away from them is not easy but God is good for we overcome all those times that we're not together.
In July 2018 when I go back to the Philippines and have a 3-month vacation and in October I came back again to Kuwait.
Again this is the second hardest part of my life I was on the plane from the Philippines until I arrived in Kuwait and as if I was just dreaming I never mind those people looking at me while I am crying in pain.
It takes time for me to recover to overcome the homesickness it's hard but I need to be strong and not let my mind go crazy I need to always remind myself that I am doing all these things for my 2daughters that they are waiting for me to come back home soon.
As of this moment, I am now 4 years since the last time we've been together since I wasn't able to go on vacation when a pandemic hits all over the world.
Hoping and praying that this coming December, I can go home safe and sound.
Pohon dae maka uli raka og makauban ra mo pohon.
Whaoo. I'm sorry you have to work far away from your kids, I understand how painful it might be.. But I'm happy that I and Sophia are sharing same month too. I'm October 31st. I also would love to work in Kuwait, but I would like advise from a master like you who had stayed longer there😊
Hello, fashtioluwa thank you for noticing my blog, yeah being far away from our loved ones especially our children is quite painful but at the end of the day it's worth it for we can able to give them their needs and wants. I think you can come to Kuwait you just need to first find the availability of a job that suits you.
Hmm, thanks.. I will do just that..I hope we meet some day
:) your daughters are adorable! reminds me of my own daughter..
welcome to hive! if there is any question maybe i can answer for u.. :)
It's not easy to leave loved once to a far away country, to the extent that you won't be seeing them for a long while. It's absolutely not easy. Welcome to Hive.
