Hello, amazing people in this community. How are you? Well, I hope you are all fine and doing good. This is my first time posting a blog in this community. For today's blog, I would like to feature my husband who does the role of a mother since I gave birth to my first child. Should I say I'm proud of him for being so caring and loving to our three lovely daughters?
Fatherhood comes when you have a child to take care of. Or when you marry a woman with a child or had adopted a child. Fatherhood or parenthood is a term that can be interchanged. When you became a father you are a parent too. Parenting is not only the concern of a mother. But it is the concern of both husband and wife or both a man of woman. Taking care of a child starts from birth or from the time a child is under your custody. It is your responsibility until they had their own family. It won't stop. Much more we Filipinos are noted for having a culture of strong family ties.
We got married last July 27, 2007. I gave birth to our first child on January 30, 2008. When we had our first child I noticed that my husband is very particular in caring for our child. He changes the diaper, mixes milk, takes care of it during nighttime, and does everything that some men can not do. He takes care of our children until this time when they are already young ladies and had their schooling in a different school. It was my husband who send my three kids to school and pick them up. My kids are the reason why he did not accept his promotion to area manager. He refuses the offer from the company. He is very responsible when it comes to his family. And with that aspect, I'm proud of him.
Despite being responsible and caring, he has also an attitude that I can say to myself, God will not give us a perfect person. Why? He is a nagger. He has a strong loud voice when he got angry. He doesn't care if he hurts me already. Well as a wife who loved our children, I just widen my patience for my family. I just understand him because if he has a negative attitude he has a positive one too. So to preserve our marriage for our kids, I should be calm and don't mind everything.

Seems like your children are all daddy's girls! Its nice to have a father who supports and cares for his girls when they are growing up. A role model they can look up to. That's even more amazing that he declined the promotion just to be at the side of his children. You reminded me when my dad went away to far off places just to work and there were long periods where I grow up and it was just mom and my siblings but I could remember the tremendous joy we felt when he finally comes home. Seems like your kids are blessed to have a father like him.
