En Ecuador cada 1ro de Junio se celebra el día del niño y a pesar de que tenemos más de una semana sin agua en la Ciudad, está fecha no iba a pasar por alto en las instituciones educativas, así que los padres y directivos pusimos manos a la obra para celebrar el día de nuestros niños.
Todo comenzó el 31 de Mayo, con la celebración de los más pequeños de la casa (Amelie y Joaquín), ellos tuvieron su celebración en la clínica donde reciben terapias, en Singulare y allí fuimos mi esposo, mi hija mayor y yo a acompañarlos para así ver sus avances y pasar un día en familia junto a ellos.
In Ecuador, Children's Day is celebrated every June 1st and even though we have more than a week without water in the city, this date was not going to pass unnoticed in the educational institutions, so parents and directors got down to work to celebrate our children's day.
It all started on May 31, with the celebration of the youngest of the house (Amelie and Joaquin), they had their celebration at the clinic where they receive therapies, in Singulare and there my husband, my oldest daughter and I went to accompany them to see their progress and spend a family day with them.
Cada mes se celebra algún logro de los pequeños y este vez fue más especial, ya que además se celebraba el hecho de que sean niños. Así que tocó hacerlo al ritmo de las verduras y frutas, y digo ritmo, ya que los pequeños Amelie y Joaquín participaron en un baile 😝, fue bastante divertido verlos allí, Amelie no paraba de brincar y Joaquín pues tuvo algo de miedo escénico, pero hizo sus pasos.
Every month we celebrate some achievement of the little ones and this time it was even more special, since we were also celebrating the fact that they are children. So it was time to do it to the rhythm of vegetables and fruits, and I say rhythm, because little Amelie and Joaquin participated in a dance 😝, it was quite funny to see them there, Amelie did not stop jumping and Joaquin had some stage fright, but he did his steps.
También tuvieron un show de títeres, baile y muchas palomitas de Maíz, granizado y algodón de azúcar, todo para que esas energías se fueran a las nubes jajaja. Y no solo era para el disfrute de los pequeños si no también para el de sus acompañantes. Ammy estaba muy feliz y creo que fue la que más disfrutó la fiesta de sus hermanos.
They also had a puppet show, dancing and lots of popcorn, slushies and cotton candy, all to make those energies go through the roof hahaha. And it was not only for the enjoyment of the little ones but also for their companions. Ammy was very happy and I think she was the one who enjoyed her brothers' party the most.

Durante el evento, Joaquín se tornó asustado con un títere que era un mono. Así que se perdió una buena parte de su fiesta, ya que no abría los ojos y me abrazaba fuerte, esto también me agotó mucho y la que definitivamente sí disfrutó a su estilo, fue Amelie, aunque en una ocasión se quiso escapar del área de juegos 😂. Ambos recibieron un pequeño detalle sorpresa por parte de Singulare y además se reencontró con su terapeuta anterior, quien cuidó de ella durante la actividad.
During the event, Joaquin became frightened with a puppet that was a monkey. So he missed a good part of his party, as he wouldn't open his eyes and hugged me tightly, this also exhausted me a lot and the one who definitely did enjoy in her own style, was Amelie, although on one occasion she wanted to escape from the play area 😂. They both received a little surprise gift from Singulare and she was also reunited with her previous therapist, who took care of her during the activity.

Por otra parte, en la escuela también tuvieron actividades por el día del niño. Comenzaron con una charla por parte de la policía de tránsito y luego Ammy y Amelie asistieron a las fiestas de sus grados respectivamente y en mi caso me tocó decorar el salón de Ammy la noche anterior con otras mamitas del grado, ya que somos parte del comité de Padres y representantes.
Me gustó que en el salón de Amelie, las madres que estaban a cargo estaban muy al pendiente de ella y de darle todo como a los demás niños, cuando llegó la hora de tumbar la piñata, como Amelie no participa en esta actividad una mamá por iniciativa propia, decidió agarrar cosas de la piñata para Amelie, creo que fue un lindo gesto de su parte.
On the other hand, at school they also had activities for children's day. They started with a talk by the traffic police and then Ammy and Amelie attended their grade parties respectively and in my case it was my turn to decorate Ammy's classroom the night before with other mommies from the grade, since we are part of the Parents and Representatives committee.
I liked that in Amelie's room, the mothers who were in charge were very attentive to her and to give her everything like the other children, when it was time to knock down the piñata, as Amelie does not participate in this activity a mom on her own initiative, decided to take things from the piñata for Amelie, I think it was a nice gesture on her part.

Y así es como mis pequeños celebraron y disfrutaron del día del niño en Ecuador. En Venezuela el día del niño tiene otra fecha, así que Ammy dice que le toca celebrar por partida doble, ya que ellos son niños Venezolanos y Ecuatorianos jajajaja, muy inteligente y bueno, esperamos para esa fecha tenerles algún detalle de nuestra parte.
And this is how my little ones celebrated and enjoyed children's day in Ecuador. In Venezuela the children's day has another date, so Ammy says that she has to celebrate twice, since they are Venezuelan and Ecuadorian children hahahaha, very smart and well, we hope for that date to have some detail from us.

Que lindo que las instituciones educativas tengan estos detalles con los niños y celebre en este día tan especial para ellos. Aquí en Argentina hace algunos años también se festeja con actividades y picnics con los que disfrutan mucho.
