Las terapias de Joaquín avanzan y lo cierto es que a veces como padres queremos ver resultados inmediatos en especial cuando invertimos dinero en ello, nunca veré el pago de una terapia como gasto. Pero lo cierto es que hay que tener paciencia y sobre todo constancia.
En este primer mes de las terapias de lenguaje de Joaquín, ya lo he visto llegar a las sesiones muy sonriente e incluso feliz y emotivo al ver a su terapeuta. Cuando llegamos al consultorio, toca la puerta y se sienta a esperar que le abran, luego entra con alegría, algunas veces levanta sus manos en señal de felicidad y esto me hace saber que allí lo tratan bien y que se siente bien al estar con la Licenciada, esto es algo que como madre, considero muy importante, la conexión terapeuta - paciente.
En casa reforzamos lo aprendido, junto a Ammy, su hermana mayor, comenzamos a decir palabras cortas y él intenta repetirlas, por otra parte si dice alguna mal, no lo corregimos diciendo "así no se dice", si no que más bien lo felicitamos por intentarlo y motivamos a que siga haciéndolo hasta que lo logre.
En la terapia de estimulación temprana también sigue con los refuerzos escolares, ya que pronto iniciarán nuevamente las clases, así que debe estar preparado para ello, todo conlleva rutinas y costumbres, que pueda familiarizarse con las actividades, aún cuando no todo siempre sea perfecto. Él busca siempre aprender y hacerlo lo mejor posible y eso es un gran trabajo de su parte, así que nos sentimos orgullosos por él.
¿Que si Joaquín ya habla? Apenas lleva un mes en terapia de lenguaje, así que estamos haciendo nuestra parte, sabemos que pronto veremos mejores resultados, por ahora dice palabras y se hace entender.

Joaquin's therapies are progressing and the truth is that sometimes as parents we want to see immediate results especially when we invest money in it, I will never see paying for therapy as an expense. But the truth is that you have to have patience and above all perseverance.
In this first month of Joaquin's speech therapy, I have already seen him arrive at the sessions very smiling and even happy and excited to see his therapist. When we arrive at the office, he knocks on the door and sits down to wait to be opened, then he enters with joy, sometimes he raises his hands in happiness and this lets me know that he is treated well there and that he feels good to be with the Licentiate, this is something that as a mother, I consider very important, the therapist-patient connection.
At home we reinforce what he has learned, together with Ammy, his older sister, we begin to say short words and he tries to repeat them, on the other hand if he says something wrong, we do not correct him saying "that is not the way to say it", but rather we congratulate him for trying and motivate him to continue doing it until he succeeds.
In the early stimulation therapy he also continues with school reinforcements, as soon classes will start again, so he must be prepared for it, everything involves routines and habits, that he can familiarize himself with the activities, even if not everything is always perfect. He is always looking to learn and do his best and that is a great job on his part, so we are proud of him.
Is Joaquín talking yet? He has only been in speech therapy for a month, so we are doing our part, we know that soon we will see better results, for now he says words and makes himself understood.

No cabe duda de que como madre deseas ver los resultados en tu hijo de forma rápida, pero estoy seguro que están haciendo las cosas muy bien así que todo llegará en el momento ideal. Qué bueno que tienen claro lo importante de ser constantes y pacientes pues eso les permitirá manejar toda esta situación relacionada con la terapia y con la mejor actitud posible 🙂

Que lindo y grande y lindo se ve Joaquin, me alegra que esté haciendo sus terapias de lenguaje y que ya diga palabras y se haga entender eso es un gran avance.
Y si que bueno que se lleva bien con la terapeuta, así la entenderá mejor y le gusta ir a sus terapias.

Que bello se ve Joaquín en estas fotos amiga @elizabeths14, se nota que esta feliz con sus terapias y claro que no es un dinero mal gastado amiga, pero cuanto duele tener que pagar cada terapia sobre todo porque siempre hay muchas prioridades. Te entiendo tanto, a veces quisiéramos ver avances de inmediato pero la paciencia es nuestra mejor aliada.
