Hello to all moms out there! It's been a while since I posted here. Today, I just want to share with you my preparations for my son's birthday. Every year, I always make some efforts for my kids, like decorating their favorite videos on YouTube as their birthday theme. Like Cocomelon, and a superhero like Spiderman. But for now, I chose Blippi as his birthday theme because he really likes it. Every day, he enjoyed watching Blippi videos on Youtube. And when I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said "BLIPPI." That's why I decided to choose that as his birthday theme. As a mom, I always want what's best and what makes my kids happy.
Is there anyone here who is so excited for their kids birthday? Because for me as a mom, I'm always excited, like 3 weeks or one month before their birthday, I do preparation, like buying in an online shop like Lazada or Shopee for the materials needed for the decorations and his birthday theme t-shirt. We all know that online shopping takes 3–7 days before you receive your order. That's why I ordered it earlier.
On March 19, 2024, after my work, we went to the market to buy some ingredients for my son's birthday. Then, when we got home, I started to prepare all the ingredients needed for the desserts, like Buko Pandan and Mango Graham. As you can see in the picture, those are the ingredients and the final outcome of the desserts that I made. While my husband made the Lumpiang Shanghai, a Filipino deep-fried appetizer.
After the food preparation, next are the decorations for his birthday theme. I started doing it around midnight and finished it around 3:30 in the morning. Imagine how tiring it is, but when you love your kids, all your efforts are worth it, especially when you see their reactions.
