Intentional parenting: raising kids with love.

physical neglect during infancy can have serious long-time effects on learning and memory.these kids grow up with anger issues and even the feeling of being unwanted as a result of negligence.

Being present for this kids help them grow up with self worth, self-confidence. The world will be filled with happy kids not traumatized ones.

That's why as parents, we need to be present in the lives of our kids. It has a long term effects on them both physically, emotionally and mentally. Give a little love to a child, and get a great deal back.

Ever since I became a mother I vowed to rise my kids with plenty of love and attention, because I know the long time benefits of this. Sadly, some of idea people have is that when you give them love and attention, they become spoilt.

However I disagree with that assumption because giving love to your kids has nothing to do with being intentional about discipline and instulling good manners in them. Just know when to be firm.

Probably most parents will agree that it pays to love one’s children, not only because of the love received in return but, more important, because of the positive effect this love will have on them.

Tell your kids you love them as many times as you can, hug them, be present for them and be firm when ever you see the need.
