Greetings, Hiveians!
Happy New Year to everyone! I hope that 2025 is celebrated and welcomed by all in peace.❤️
We went to see my mother-in-law today. My house is only a short stroll away. My mother-in-law just picked bananas from her garden, and my son decided to cook them up for spring rolls.
My son, who is twelve years old, the oldest of my four kids, is in seventh grade and inherits my cooking talents. I'm thrilled to see him develop his skills. He's also a sweet a young man.
So here's the steps and Ingredients:
3-Ingredient Banana Spring Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
- Spring roll wrapper
- Ripe banana
- Cooking oil
Steps:
Peel the banana.
Wrap the banana with the spring roll wrapper.
Preheat the oil in a pan.
Fry the wrapped bananas until golden brown.
Enjoy your simple and delicious banana spring rolls!
I also bought lomi and fried rice.
Lomi is a popular Filipino noodle soup made with thick noodles cooked in a rich, savory broth.
It is best serve specially during rainy season.
Cooking with children has many advantages, but the chance to connect while doing something concrete and significant together is among the finest. Cooking stimulates all of the senses, encouraging imagination, curiosity, and cooperation. While having fun, it teaches children important life skills like measuring, following directions, and understanding nutrition. It also gives them a place to talk freely, laugh together, and feel proud of themselves when they see (and taste!) the fruits of their labor. In addition to building confidence and enduring memories, the shared experience gives children a sense of accomplishment and worth.
I appreciate you all joining along on our fun spring roll-making experience with kids! In addition to producing delicious food today, we also stimulated creativity, built stronger friendships, and created memories. Making spring rolls is a perfect example of how an easy recipe can be transformed into an interesting and fulfilling pastime. The real value, however, is in the time we spent together, not the dish. Cooking with children develops confidence, life skills, and laughter in addition to providing delicious meals. They learn the value of teamwork and a sense of shared thoughts from these experiences, which have a lasting effect. We appreciate your participation in this food journey.
Enjoy cooking and bonding till next time!

Me too.❤️❤️
I love this dish. Simple and easy to prepare. Saves me most of time as I serve them as a filler when the main dish is not yet ready. !BBH
