Saludos queridas madres y padres de Hive, hoy fue un día muy especial para mi hijo Rafael y para mi, debido a que ayer el profesor de ajedrez se comunicó por teléfono para invitar a Rafael como participante a un campeonato de ajedrez a realizarse en las instalaciones del club, Rafael muy entusiasmado aceptó la invitación y hoy asistimos.
El profesor invitó a niños estudiantes de la academia y también a adultos veteranos pertenecientes al club, lamentablemente además de Rafael solo asistió otro niño el cual por tener un poco más de edad y experiencia pidió participar con los adultos, el profesor nos llamó a la oficina para hablar con Rafael y explicarle que no habían otros niños así que solo se efectuaría en campeonato con los veteranos , le preguntó directamente a Rafael si quería jugar con los adultos o si quería quedar solo a observar y aprender, pero mi niño valiente le dijo al profesor que el quería jugar y es así como Rafael jugó con los mejores veteranos en ajedrez de la ciudad 😄incluyendo al presidente del club
Rafael jugó las correspondientes cinco rondas, es decir, jugó cinco veces contra cinco contrincantes diferentes, la diferencia es que con Rafael no hacían uso del reloj, obviamente Rafael no ganó ninguna partida pero hizo buenas jugadas e incluso en la última ronda resistió mucho tiempo, por lo que los demás jugadores se quedaron de espectadores del juego de Rafael contra uno de los expertos, yo no podía contener la emoción, Rafael demostró ser un niño con mucha fortaleza, no se dejó desanimar por las derrotas, tomó cada partida como experiencia de aprendizaje, fue respetuoso y maduro, no se sintió intimidado por las contundentes jugadas de los adultos y jugó por su propia decisión, se sintió feliz de haber tardado bastante tiempo en que los expertos lograran derrotarlo, aceptó sin complejos que sus contrincante saben más que él y no tomó mal, al contrario regresó a casa muy feliz, sabiendo que se enfrentó a los mejores. Yo como madre sobreprotectora y emocional que soy me contuve muchas veces pero mi niño me demostró que el puede con estas pruebas y mucho más 🥹

The teacher invited children who were students from the academy and also veteran adults belonging to the club, unfortunately, apart from Rafael, only another child attended who, due to being a little older and more experienced, asked to participate with the adults, the teacher called us into the office to talk to Rafael and explain to him that there were no other children so it would only take place in the championship with the veterans, he asked Rafael directly if he wanted to play with the adults or if he wanted to be left alone to observe and learn, but my brave boy told the teacher that he wanted to play and this is how Rafael played with the best chess veterans in the city 😄including the president of the club
Rafael played the corresponding five rounds, that is, he played five times against five different opponents, the difference is that with Rafael they did not use the clock, obviously Rafael did not win any game but he made good plays and even in the last round he resisted for a long time, so the other players were spectators of Rafael's game against one of the experts, I could not contain the emotion, Rafael proved to be a very strong boy, he did not let himself be discouraged by the defeats, he took each game as an experience of learning, was respectful and mature, did not feel intimidated by the forceful plays of adults and played by his own decision, felt happy that it took a long time for the experts to defeat him, accepted without complexes that his opponents know more than him and he did not take it badly, on the contrary he returned home very happy, knowing that he faced the best. As an overprotective and emotional mother, I held back many times, but my son showed me that he can handle these tests and much more 🥹
