Ser madre ha sido y será la experiencia más hermosa de mi vida. Desde que me enteré que dentro de mí se estaba formando un ser que deseaba con todo mi corazón, la vida me cambió para siempre y el camino ha sido maravilloso.
Being a mother has been and will be the most beautiful experience of my life. Since I found out that inside me was forming a being that I wanted with all my heart, life changed me forever and the road has been wonderful.
Así pues, desde que soy mamá celebro todos los días porque tengo la bendición de tener una hija que es mi motor de vida, que me regala alegrías, esperanzas en el porvenir y muchas satisfacciones. Puedo decir que ella es mi mejor regalo.
So, since I became a mother, I celebrate every day because I am blessed to have a daughter who is my driving force in life, who gives me joy, hope for the future and many satisfactions. I can say that she is my best gift.
Ahora, atendiendo a la invitación de @rafaelgreen para la iniciativa “El mejor regalo para mamá”, me puse a pensar en las dos preguntas que él plantea y por acá dejo mis respuestas.
Now, in response to @rafaelgreen's invitation for the initiative "The best gift for mom ", I started thinking about the two questions he poses and here are my answers.
¿Cuál sería el mejor regalo que te gustaría recibir el día de las madres?
What would be the best gift you would like to receive on Mother's Day?
El mejor regalo que me encantaría recibir el día de las madres es la buena noticia de que ya no hay más Covid-19 y que podemos retomar nuestra cotidianidad, volver a encontrarnos y compartir sin miedos. Ese es un regalo que espero poder abrir en cualquier momento.
The best gift I would love to receive on Mother's Day is the good news that there is no more Covid-19 and that we can resume our daily lives, meet again and share without fear. That is a gift I hope to be able to open at any time.
Otro regalo ideal sería amanecer el domingo en una hermosa playa, con un desayuno suculento que tenga pescado frito, ensalada fresca y bastante tajadas. Luego, de una caminata y un chapuzón, me encantaría recibir un masaje relajante, tomarme unas piñas coladas escuchando el vaivén de las olas y para terminar el día, disfrutar del atardecer con una cena deliciosa.
Another ideal gift would be to wake up on Sunday on a beautiful beach, with a succulent breakfast with fried fish, fresh salad and plenty of slices. Then, after a walk and a dip, I would love to receive a relaxing massage, have some piña coladas listening to the swaying of the waves and to end the day, enjoy the sunset with a delicious dinner.
Ahora, volviendo a la realidad, puedo decir que para este año ya tengo mi primer regalo. Hacía cinco años que no tenía a mi hija aquí a mi lado; este año, tengo la bendición de tenerla, así que, seguro, ella me va a consentir junto con su papá y me harán pasar un día relajada, complacida y feliz. Para mí, esto es lo más importante.
Now, coming back to reality, I can say that for this year I already have my first gift. It has been five years since I had my daughter here by my side; this year, I am blessed to have her, so, for sure, she will spoil me along with her daddy and make me spend a relaxed, pleased and happy day. For me, this is the most important thing.

Ojalá tuviera un gran poder para darle a mi madre el regalo más deseado por ella. Ojalá pudiera borrarle la tristeza más profunda de su corazón y devolverle la alegría genuina de tener a todos sus hijos a su alrededor.
I wish I had great power to give my mother the gift she most desired. I wish I could erase the deepest sadness from her heart and give her back the genuine joy of having all her children around her.
Este domingo, la traeré a mi casa para consentirla, invitarla a almorzar, entregarle un regalito especial y compartir juntas, las tres: mi madre, mi hija y yo, un día de chicas.
This Sunday, I will bring her to my house to spoil her, treat her to lunch, give her a special little gift and share together, the three of us: my mother, my daughter and me, a girls' day out.
Lo que más quiero para ella es mucha salud y bienestar para su vida.
What I want most for her is a lot of health and wellness for her life.
