There were times that we mothers want to have peace at home but when we have kids we can't surely have that peace all the time because kids like to run and play around, talking, laughing, shouting with each other and messing with other things are what they usually do.
But as a mom who sometimes is sensitive to noise, I find ways on how to keep my kids busy. Though, they can still make noise with the way that I introduced to them but it's better this way because they will just stayed in one place and sometimes whispering is what they will do especially when they know that I am sick or my migraine attacks again.
Here are the simple ways on how to keep them busy to minimize their noise.
I bought these Colouring books last Friday and as we went home, the kids excitedly called my name because they were so excited to see the four Colouring book and wanted to start coloring them. There's the Colouring book that has images of Transformers (that's what Adam chose), the Peppa Pig (my eldest wants it), the McQueen (chosen my Alexander) and lastly the Barbies for Xandra.
Buying Colouring Books so they would keep themselves busy coloring the images on their respective books. In this way, I just didn't let them be busy, I also let them be creative in coloring the images.
Since Xander likes cars so with the four Colouring book that I bought, he chose the one that has a picture of McQueen. He excitedly get his crayons and start coloring them.
While his twin Xandra (the only girl in his siblings) had the Colouring book that have images of the Barbies. She was so happy with her colouring book and started coloring it when I handed it to her.
The twins being busy coloring their books. They look so serious while doing it and I guess they really enjoyed what they were doing.
Here's Adam looking so serious in coloring. What made me amused in what he did was when he started coloring at the back rather on the first page. I think, he colors the image that seems so easy for him to color.
Peppa Pig Colouring book seems like a coloring book for girls because I saw two images of Peppa that wore a skirt and the other one was a dress but since there were no other coloring book that was available at the store so I just bought it and glad that my eldest agreed to it. He said that he likes it because that was one of the Cartoon videos that they watched in YouTube before and it's very entertaining. He started coloring the dress of Peppa and he used color blue on it.
Buying A Box Of Clay for them
Clay doesn't just keep the kids busy, it also bring out the creativity in them. They can form things out of it. At first I'm hesitant to buy clay because for me it isn't safe to be played by kids but I realized that as long as there's a proper guidance it will be alright.
When the box of clay was opened, each of the four kids had their own colors. But after some time, they were mixing it all and the result was actually good. They then form different shapes and things out of it.
Clays really brought out the creative side of them. The only creation that I was able to take a photo was the flower made by my daughter. Actually, it's the twins who really know how to shape many things. Xander can form dinosaurs out of it but sadly I wasn't able to take a photo of it because my phone runs out of battery that time.
Buying bags of blocks
Blocks is one of the toys that I really wanted to buy for my kids before. I thought we couldn't buy it because we were too far from the city but when hubby found a work at the city, we took the chance to buy those for them. My hubby bought three bags of blocks along with their toy cars. Forming cars, robots and many more were what they made. It's nice to see them seeing getting along with each other while playing blocks.
These three ways that I had introduced to them creates a positive result on them. They are not so noisy anymore and the house will not be that messy unlike before that some things are misplaced because they kept on hiding and running everywhere around the house. These ways is an effective way to keep the kids in one place.

I think it's great that you gave them colors, because usually people make the mistake of giving them a phone or tablet.
This activity will allow them to exercise, develop cognitive and motor areas, good decision.
Thank you so much.. As much as possible, I don't want them to be expose more on gadgets because it will only make them lazy if they become addicted to it. So it's better this kind of ways coz kids would be more creative.

Yeah too many kids now just get a tablet or phone. uff no I say go outside and play or learn to draw and write and do things:)
True, Kuya. Letting kids run and play outside or letting them be busy with educational things is much better than letting them hold some gadgets. It would only make them lazy to move and do other activities. Thank you Kuya!
Well I am proud of you inday. So many parents now just take the easy option and give kids gadgets and don't play or take an interest in their children.
