Hello mothers of Hive! Here we are again with our weekly activities for our kids and their playmates. As you all know, I vowed to post weekly about my kids and their playmates' activities but being the procrastinator and busy person that I am, I wasn't able to live up to my promise. Hahaha! Hopefully, I can continue this consistently in the next few weeks.
I can't believe it has almost been a month from the time we made this activity! Please forgive me. I still want to share it though as the kids had so much fun doing it, so did their mothers. 😁 It's a good thing one of my friends has a baking business. She bakes made-to-order cakes and cupcakes which was very fortunate for us. The kids only had to decorate them with the icing which was also provided by my friend. We also had Minecraft printouts since it was my nephew's birthday the day before our activity so we just used them as decoration as well.
I already anticipated that it would be messy, but surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. The kids were really serious with their craft. We made sure to bring chocolate sticks, marshmallows, and different sprinkles so they would have enough decorations to put on their cupcakes.
After about 10-15 minutes, they're done with their works of art. The cupcakes were really good but my friend made it with less sugar so it's a bit healthier. Here are the finished products:
The kids were so proud of what they've accomplished and I'm so happy that they enjoyed the activity. The final and important part of the activity is, of course, eating the cupcakes. Aside from the colorful and cute decorations, they were also tasty!
Join us again next time for another playdate activity with my kids and their friends! Thank you so much for stopping by. Until our next story!
