Saludos queridos padres de @motherhood, un gusto en saludarlos deseándoles que este mes que estamos iniciando venga cargado de muchas bendiciones, les cuento que la semana pasada le asignaron a mi niño representar a su sección en el Reto de Ciencias de su colegio que se estaría llevando a cabo esta semana, teniendo que enfocarlo en Eventos de Desastres Naturales, ya que ese es su proyecto de aprendizaje para este lapso, así que se nos ocurrió hacer una Erupción Volcánica, por lo que nos pusimos a ver varios videos en YouTube para tener idea de cómo hacerlo y al ver que era algo sencillo, me fui a comprar unas pinturas que estaban faltando para elaborar la maqueta.
Greetings dear parents of @motherhood, a pleasure to greet you wishing you that this month that is starting comes loaded with many blessings, I tell you that last week my child was assigned to represent his section in the Science Challenge of his school that would be taking place this week, having to focus on Natural Disaster Events, so we came up with the idea of making a Volcanic Eruption, so we started watching several videos on YouTube to get an idea of how to do it and seeing that it was something simple, I went to buy some paints that were missing to make the model.

Como les he mencionado anteriormente me gusta mucho dejar que mi hijo tome la iniciativa en sus estudios, por lo que he inculcado siempre que es su responsabilidad elaborar sus trabajos por él mismo, siendo yo solo un apoyo en caso de necesitarme, limitándome más que todo a facilitarle los materiales con que va a trabajar y supervisarlo; para este proyecto la idea era hacer un volcán sobre una base de cartón, y para esto usaríamos una botellita plástica en el medio, con varias bolitas de papel rodeando la misma hasta formar una montaña que serviría como cráter del volcán, por lo que mi hijo se encargó de hacer las bolitas de papel y las fue pegando alrededor de la botella, mientras yo le iba poniendo el silicón caliente, después le busque agua con pega y le facilite algunas servilletas, el rasgo varias tiritas y las fue pegando una por una, con ayuda de un pincel, dejamos secando muy bien por dos días.
As I have mentioned before, I like to let my son take the initiative in his studies, so I have always instilled in him that it is his responsibility to elaborate his work by himself, being me only a support in case he needs me, limiting myself more than anything to provide him with the materials he will work with and supervise him; for this project the idea was to make a volcano on a cardboard base, and for this we would use a plastic bottle in the middle, with several small balls of paper surrounding it to form a mountain that would serve as the crater of the volcano, so my son was in charge of making the paper balls and gluing them around the bottle, while I was putting the hot silicone, then I looked for water with glue and provided him with some napkins, he ripped several strips and glued them one by one, with the help of a brush, we let them dry very well for two days.

Al cabo de ese tiempo mi hijo se encargó de pintar su volcán, y la base del mismo, con pintura al frío, les cuento que estaba muy ansioso de pintarlo, ya que le encanta usar sus pinceles, así que esos dos días mientras se secaba fue algo intenso preguntándome si ya podía pintarlo! Ja, ja, ja, ya que mi hijo es algo impaciente. Una vez que lo pinto lo dejamos secando otro día más, y para decorarlo le imprimí unos arbolitos que él recortó y pego en cartoncitos y se los pusimos, mi hijo tuvo la brillante idea de colocarle unas piedritas para que se viera más natural, así que bajamos al jardín de la urbanización a buscarlas y poder decorar la base del volcán, él se encargó de ponerlas mientras yo le colocaba el silicón, resultando un volcán muy hermoso hecho principalmente por mi hijo.

Ha ha ha ha, as my son is somewhat impatient. Once he painted it, we let it dry for another day, and to decorate it I printed some little trees that he cut out and glued on cardboard and we put them on it, my son had the brilliant idea of putting some pebbles on it to make it look more natural, so we went down to the garden of the urbanization to look for them and decorate the base of the volcano, he was in charge of putting them while I put the silicone on it, resulting in a very beautiful volcano made mainly by my son.

Con respecto al experimento de la erupción que va a hacer el volcán le compre vinagre y bicarbonato de sodio, productos que le servirías para simular la lava, le di una botellita para que practicara como lo iba a realizar en la escuela y luego se puso a practicar su exposición con una lámina que le servirá de apoyo, la cual pinto el mismo. Me siento muy complacida por el entusiasmo de mi hijo y su creatividad, cualidades que nosotros como padres siempre debemos fortalecer en nuestros pequeños, dejándoles hacer las cosas por ellos mismos, ya que es muy importante que se sientan capaces, ya que esto les servirá para afianzar su seguridad y autoestima, esta semana Dios mediante les estaré compartiendo como le fue a mi hijo en su Reto Científico, esperando que todo salga bien y que tenga una experiencia positiva y enriquecedora, hasta una nueva oportunidad.
