For a long time, vaccines scared my daughters and it was quite a protocol to do so. In the last two years, vaccines (seasonal or campaign vaccines as they say) have been administered at school. Normally their vaccines are given by their pediatrician but the Health Ministry holds these days for vaccines such as Anti-influenza or Covid vaccines and this time it was the turn of the two to receive the Polio one. The important thing about all this is that they were not really afraid, I think that being at school where there were other classmates nearby they felt braver. Even I passed with them but it was not necessary to sit them on my lap or hold their hands, I felt very proud and was impressed by their attitude.
Durante mucho tiempo las vacunas asustaron a mis hijas y era todo un protocolo hacerlo, estos dos últimos años se han colocado vacunas (de epoca o de campaña como dicen) en la escuela. Normalmente sus vacunas se las coloca su pediatra pero el Misiterio de salud realiza estas jornadas para vacunas como la Antiinflueza o las del Covid y esta vez les tocó a las dos colocarse la del Polio. Lo importante de todo esto es que realmente no tuvieron miedo, creo que al ser en el colegio donde había otros compañeros cerca ellas se sintieron más valientes. Incluso yo pasé con ellas pero no fue necesario sentarlas en mis piernas, ni sostener sus manos, yo me sentí muy orgullosa y estaba impresionada de su actitud.

My daughters are 8 and 6 years old and of course when I left I hugged them, kissed them a lot and walked them back to their classrooms. When they left in the afternoon they wanted a reward for their courage, the reward was a juice and a chocolate, their innocence relieved me, and of course I made the necessary stop to please them. In the afternoon they didn't feel any discomfort but they wanted to be in bed with me watching TV and that's how we spent the rest of the day. I enjoy all its stages, sometimes with nostalgia, but happy that my daughters lead such a beautiful life.
Marcela reconoce que le dolió y Miranda dice que no, pero para mí es de gran valor que ellas tomen este desafio de esta forma, seguras, confiadas, tranquilas, armadas de valor y con esa actitud de niñas grandes. Mis hijas tienen 8 y 6 añitos y por supuesto al salir las abracé, las besé mucho y las acompañé de vuelta a sus salones de clases. Al salir en la tarde quisieron una recompensa por su valor, la recompensa era un jugo y un chocolate, su inocencia me alivia, y por supuesto hice la parada necesaria par complacerlas. Por la tarde no sintieron ningun malestar pero querían estar en cama conmigo viendo tele y así pasamos el resto del día. Me disfruto todas sus etapas, a veces con nostalgia, pero feliz de que mis hijas lleven una vida tan bonita.

Son muy valientes, yo aún les temo. Las vacunas son algo muy importante, me alegra que tus hijas ya tengan el esquema de vacunas completo. Yo también le doy premios a mi hijo cuando se vacuna, pero el es mas fuerte que yo.
A mi tampoco me gusta nada de eso, ni sacarme la sangre. Pero cuando toca toca.
