Un fuerte abrazo a todas las mamis y papis que hacen vida en esta hermosa comunidad de @motherhood siempre brindando buenas experiencias de aprendizaje que garanticen el crecimiento y desarrollo de nuestros hijos, este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de visitar el campo donde vive gran parte de mi familia al llegar nos dimos cuenta que nuestros familiares estaban realizando un proceso de desgranaje de maíz, lo cual creó curiosidad en mis hijos preguntando para qué realizaban ese trabajo, allí tuve que explicarles que ese maíz era utilizado para la preparación de arepas de maíz pilado y pelada, lo cual forma parte de la gastronomía criolla oriental de nuestra región.

Como padres debemos fomentar en nuestros hijos la cultura y raíces de nuestra familia, por lo tanto este día maravilloso permitió que mis hijos realizaran esta práctica y ayudarán a desgranar los maíz como lo hacen en el campo, también aprovechamos de visitar la parte del fogón donde cuelgan las mazorcas para que estas sequen y puedan utilizarlas para nuevas siembras y cultivos de maíz, mis hijos disfrutaron la experiencia de contacto con esta actividades, además el lugar les pareció maravilloso ya que hay un contacto con animales como gallinas, gallos entre otros, Por lo cual me siento feliz de que mis hijos conozcan un poco de la historia y procedencia de la arepa cómo patrimonio gastronómico de nuestro país Venezuela.
