Los días previos al carnaval estuvieron llenos de muchas correderas, Desde hace 6 meses mi Hija es parte de la escuela Nacional de Danza y había que prepararse para la actividad de la Escuela de Danza que se trataba de realizar una comparsa y al retorno de la comparsa las niñas presentarían una coreografía a un Jurado evaluador, esto debían hacerlo disfrazadas, Gracias a Dios tengo en casa un costurero y este se puso manos a la obra, a realizar el disfraz que tocaba de muñeca de trapo.

The days leading up to the carnival were full of many slides, for 6 months my daughter is part of the National School of Dance and had to prepare for the activity of the School of Dance which was to perform a comparsa and the return of the comparsa the girls would present a choreography to a jury evaluator, this had to be done in costume, Thank God I have at home a seamstress and this got down to work, to make the costume that played rag doll.

Por un lado, estaba tranquila porque en el colegio habían dicho que no se realizarían este año comparsas ni elección de reinas. Pero a última hora nos dicen que, si se va realizar, pero únicamente en las instalaciones del colegio y sin la necesidad de la presencia de los padres.

Yo en un momento pensé no los voy a enviar ese día a clases, y me libraba del tema de buscar disfraz, pero ellos se anotaron en un baile y llegaron a casa todo emocionados por su participación la niña llego diciendo que ella le dijo a su maestra que iría disfrazada de madama del Callao, y el niño por su parte iría de Minero del Callao, y bueno toco comprar telas y armar el disfraz de madama del callao, en menos de tres días y pausar el disfraz de muñeca, La niña me dijo que ella le tocaba explicar que era una madama del Callao, y me explico que era el nombre que se le daba a las señoras en francés, y que estas iban vestidas de un traje compuesto de una madama, de falda o o vestido largo y un turbante y muchos collares.

At one point I thought I was not going to send them to class that day, and I got rid of the issue of finding a costume, but they signed up for a dance and came home all excited about their participation, the girl came home saying that she told her teacher that she would go dressed as a madam from Callao, and the boy would go as a miner from Callao, The girl told me that it was her turn to explain that she was a madam of Callao, and she explained to me that it was the name given to the ladies in French, and that they were dressed in a costume composed of a madam, a skirt or long dress and a turban and many necklaces.

Llego el viernes a primera hora ya estaba lista para comenzar el día y les dije es hora de levantarse a vestirse con sus disfraces Los niños brincaron de la cama se lavaron los dientes y su cara y se comenzaron poner sus disfraces, mi hija me dijo que la maquillara y le colocara unos stickers decorativos que compro con su papá. Ella quedo encantada con su traje y maquillaje y comenzó a posar para que le tomara fotos cosa que no le gusta mucho.

First thing Friday morning I was ready to start the day and I told them it was time to get up and get dressed in their costumes. The kids jumped out of bed, brushed their teeth and brushed their faces and started to put on their costumes, my daughter told me to put on her make-up and some decorative stickers that she bought with her dad. She was delighted with her costume and makeup and started posing for me to take pictures of her, which she doesn't like very much.

Por otro lado, mi niño me comento que él era un minero del callao, y su papá le tenía que hacer una linda braga y con un casco de juguete y el solo iba a bailar, calipso.

On the other hand, my boy told me that he was a miner from Callao, and his dad had to make him a nice panty with a toy helmet and he was just going to dance, calypso.

Al regresar de su escuela estaban muy contentos porque les había ido muy bien en su colegio, viernes en la noche debíamos terminar el traje de muñeca y para el día siguiente que era su comparsa en su escuela de Danza.
A mi niña no estaba tan emocionada con este disfraz de La muñeca de trapo, así que le explique un poco es parte de nuestra cultura, la mayoría de las niñas en nuestro país ha tenido una muñeca de trapo. Este disfraz era algo incómodo para ella la peluca le pesaba le daba calor.

When they came back from school they were very happy because they had done very well in their school, Friday night we had to finish the doll costume and for the next day it was their comparsa in their dance school.
My little girl was not so excited about this rag doll costume, so I explained to her that it is part of our culture, most of the girls in our country have had a rag doll. This costume was a little uncomfortable for her, the wig was heavy and hot.

Al final del día, estaba contenta porque ganaron en el concurso un premio por mejor vestuario.
Ya los demás días me quede en casa, descansando en familia a todos nos hacía falta.

At the end of the day, I was happy because they won a prize for best costume in the contest.
The rest of the days I stayed at home, resting with my family and we all needed it.

Cuando uno es niño le encanta usar un disfraz en carnaval. Se nota que la pasaron bien, en esa ultima foto tienen rostros de felicidad.
