My kids are my strength but when they got sick ,it makes me feel weak.
Good day @motherhood community ,what's up everyone?I hope you are all doing great today.
For today's I will be sharing another moments of my life as a mother .
As a mom ,I can't deny that when some of my kids get sick ,it makes me feel weak and sick too.
If only ,I can have the illness they have ,I don't want to see them suffering .
I know some other mom's feel the same way.
Yesterday's afternoon ,I noticed my youngest son that it's seems he got tired and feels weak.Its not normal for me to see him like that as he is a very active boy like he never felt weak.
I was asking him if he feels pain or anything but he didn't answer to me ,he was lying on the bed until he falls asleep.
I know something is not good but when I touched him ,he had a fever so I let him to take a rest and give a medicine when he awakes.
It was already night when he feels uncomfortable ,he keeps scratching his head ,arms and legs.
Then suddenly I saw something on his skin that makes me feel panic.
I was panic everytime he cries because of so much itchy.
I can't bring him to a clinic since it's already night and most of the clinic are closed.
We don't have a hospital nearby so I really worried for him.
I called my father and asking about it ,my father knows some herbal medicines for some illnesses.
He told me that I will burn a "dupang plant"it can be seen around since we are at the country side.
This is the plant he told me.
You have to burn this plant and let his body feels the smoke of it.
I wasn't able to take a photos on what we did as I was so cared and got panic especially when my son cried.
After he take the .medicine for fever,he feels fine but the itchy of his skin makes him to feel uncomfortable.
After a few minutes of smoking himself with that plant my father told,the rashes slightly gone but after a few minutes ,it will back.
So I decided to ask my brother in-law to buy a medicine for allergy.
My son had a skin allergy from eating chicken and egg but it's not look like what he had in his skin now.
His medicine for his rashes was running out so I asked my brother in-law to buy it in the town.
Good thing that there was a pharmacy that still open until 10 in the evening.
I keep watching him at night and wasn't have enough sleep,when I noticed that he didn't keeps scratching his skin and able to sleep ,it makes me feel comfortable.
I awake at 2 am and checked his body ,I am so happy that the rashes was gone.
He feels happy as well when he awakes in the morning.

Wow amiga, te entiendo, nos preocupamos mucho cuando un hijo no se siente bien, pero como padres mas nos ocupamos en cuidarlos y que ellos mejoren pronto! Tranquila, todo estará bien!
I feel relieved that your son is ok now. As a mother I also feel you when my son are sick. I tend to worry first but will calm myself and think of a solution.
