Hola queridos mamás y papás de esta comunidad, es una alegría para mi poder escribir de nuevo en esta comunidad, para comentarles de una emoción que acabo de sentir, nunca imagine que se sintiera esto tan bonito en el pecho, al ver dar sus primeros pasos a mi bebé.
Las personas a tu alrededor a veces haces que te preocupes como mamá, uno piensa —no le voy a hacer caso a sus comentarios—. Pero la realidad es que pocas veces lo logras, si tu hijo no está haciendo lo que ellas preguntaron entonces comienzas a dudar de ti y de tu capacidad como madre, pero si no lo haces te da miedo que a tu hijo le pueda estar pasando algo en su desarrollo. En mi caso luego de tantos miedos e inseguridades puedo decir que ya mi hijo camina, sus primeros pasos los dió el 2 de diciembre y desde que comenzó a caminar todo lo que hace durante el día es practicar de un lado a otro. Se ve hermoso mientras camina y sonríe emocionado.

The people around you sometimes make you worry as a mom, one thinks - I will not listen to their comments. But the reality is that you rarely succeed, if your child is not doing what they asked then you start to doubt yourself and your ability as a mother, but if you don't do it you are afraid that something might be happening to your child's development. In my case after so many fears and insecurities I can say that my son is already walking, he took his first steps on December 2nd and since he started walking all he does during the day is practice walking from one side to the other. He looks beautiful while walking and smiles excitedly.
Comenzó a caminar un mes después de cumplir el año, osea con 13 meses. Esto puede variar de un niño a otro, incluso sé de una niña contemporánea con mi hijo que comenzó a caminar a los 10 meses, entonces todos comparaban que porque ella camina y tu hijo aún no y esos comentarios se repiten en tu mente como una gotera que cae directo a tu cabeza. Lo cierto es que los niños varones tienden a ser más flojos, para caminar y también para hablar, es por eso que los médicos no estaban preocupados.
Siempre me decían que le ofreciera cosas que le llamaban la atención para que se animara a buscarlas de pie, por eso trataba de ofrecerle objetos llamativos, pero nada de eso dió resultado lo hizo un día que llegaron sus tíos a visitarlo y de la emoción fué a recibirlos caminando, así que su incentivo fué el gran cariño que siente por ellos, todos nos quedamos sorprendidos no lo podíamos creer, solo necesitaba sentir el deseo de caminar.

They always told me to offer him things that called his attention so that he would be encouraged to look for them standing up, that's why I tried to offer him flashy objects, but none of that worked, he did it one day when his uncles came to visit him and from the excitement he went to greet them walking, so his incentive was the great affection he feels for them, we were all surprised we could not believe it, he just needed to feel the desire to walk.
El consejo que les puedo dar a las mamás que tienen a sus bebés y aún no caminan, es que a su tiempo lo harán, claro al pasar los 15 meses y que no lo haga si me dijo la doctora fisiatra que debían ayudarlos con estimulación, es por eso que a mi hijo ella lo va a ver en enero, quiere verificar que todo marche bien con su crecimiento. Es una bendición contar con la ayuda de esos especialistas en el desarrollo de los niños, uno aprende muchísimo, detectan cualquier problema a tiempo para que nuestros hijos crezcan de la mejor manera.
Siento que todas las madres deberían hacer el esfuerzo para que un médico de estimulación temprana evalúe a sus hijos, es cierto que a veces llevarlos a la consulta es agotador, pero la dicha de ver a tu hijo desenvolviendose mejor gracias a las sugerencias y explicaciones que te dan para ayudarlo, para entenderlo y para cuidarlo, esa supera cualquier sacrificio. Hoy celebro que mi bebé ya camina y espero que esos pasos se vuelvan firmes y que lo lleven en un camino de bien. Gracias por leerme, estaré atenta a sus comentarios.

I feel that all mothers should make the effort to have their children evaluated by an early stimulation doctor, it is true that sometimes taking them to the office is exhausting, but the joy of seeing your child developing better thanks to the suggestions and explanations they give you to help them, to understand them and to take care of them, that surpasses any sacrifice. Yo no soy mamá pero mi mamá me dice que cada niño va a su propio ritmo. Claro, la supervisión médica es fundamental para ayudarlos a su desenvolvimiento pero no hay que comparar a los niños.

Hola @nathy33 Felicidades ya tu bebé esta creciendo 😍 cada niño tiene un ritmo diferente unos caminan antes del año otros hasta al año y medio es que dan sus primeros pasos 13 meses es el promedio para dar esos pasitos. Una abrazo cuidalo mucho y jeje a estar detrás de el siempre😊😊
Así es lo importante es que no los presionamos,si ahora debo estar detrás de él porque hace muchas travesuras. Saludos
