My girls formally start classes tomorrow Tuesday in kindergarten and elementary school respectively, the last few weeks I was buying little by little and preparing everything they need to go to school, but first I had to see and try what I had at home to give them use during this year.
In the case of Abby my youngest daughter who will be in school for the first time inherited all the uniforms and even the shoes of my older daughter Alys, because they are in excellent condition and she will use them again, on the contrary with Alys I had to buy all her new uniforms because she will go to first grade and she needed several white flannels for every day of the week but her shoes were in good condition and as they still fit she will continue giving them a good use.
The first thing I bought was the white flannels and only one red flannel, plus several pairs of socks of the same colors for each one, then the overalls and flannels for sports, her backpacks with some of her favorite motifs, pencil cases, lunch boxes and umbrellas for the kids, lunch boxes and umbrellas so they can protect themselves from sun or rain on their way to and from school and vice versa, the last thing I bought were their notebooks, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners with reservoirs and colored pencils, not to mention that I have not yet bought the final school list for both of them with the rest of the supplies they will use.
Yesterday I tried again their uniforms to verify that they have not grown more and thank goodness they both fit well, just need to clean the shoes a little bit and they are like new and ready to walk and run with them in their classrooms, I also identified each of their belongings to avoid confusion in the classroom with the personal belongings of other girls.
The beginning of classes excites me a lot, because it is the opportunity they have to continue learning and more than children are sponges that absorb all the knowledge that is imparted to them, it also helps them in their growth as people and create bonds of friendship with other children of their ages, what a joy I have to accompany them in their academic life, although I feel nervous for Abby who speaks little but I know that little by little she will improve that since being in school will help her a lot.

En el caso de Abby mi hija menor quién estará escolarizada por primera vez heredó todos los uniformes y hasta los zapatos de mi hija mayor Alys, porque se encuentran en excelente estado y ella les dará uso nuevamente, por el contrario con Alys tuve que adquirir todos sus uniformes nuevos porque irá a primer grado y necesitaba varias franelas blancas para todos los dÃas de la semana pero su calzado se conservaba en buen estado y como le quedan aún le seguirá dando un buen uso.
Lo primero que compré fue las franelas blancas y solo una franela roja, además de varios pares de medias de los mismos colores para cada una, posteriormente los monos y franelas para hacer deporte, sus morrales con algunos de sus motivos favoritos, cartucheras, loncheras y paraguas para que pueden protegerse de sol o lluvia cuando vayan o vengan del la escuela y viceversa, lo último que compré fueron sus cuadernos, lápices, borradores, sacapuntas con depósitos y lápices de colores, sin mencionar que aún no he comprado la lista escolar definitiva de ambas con el resto de los útiles que utilizarán.
Ayer les probé nuevamente los uniformes para verificar que no han crecido más y menos mal que a ambas les queda bien todo, solo falta limpiar un poco los zapatos y quedan como nuevos y listos para caminar y correr junto a ellas por sus salones de clases, también identifiqué cada una de sus pertenencias para evitar confusiones en el salón de clases con los objetos personles de otras niñas.
El inicio de clases me emociona mucho, porque es la oportunidad que tienen para seguir aprendiendo y más que los niños son unas esponjas que absorben todo el conocimiento que se les imparte, también les ayuda en su crecimiento como personas y crean lazos de amistad con otros niños de sus edades, que dicha tengo de acompañarlas en su vida académica, aunque me siento nerviosa por Abby que habla poco pero se que poco a poco mejorará eso ya que estar escolarizada le ayudará bastante.
