Playground Adventurer #7 - Tall Twisty Tube

I found this glorious playground just adjacent to my normal playgrounding area. I had ventured to this set of residential condos a couple of times, but only found a worthless 7-11 convenience store. I'm kidding. In South Korea, the 7-11 stores are very popular, like they were in the 80s in America.

The twisty tube was at least 25 feet tall and looked too scary for my daughter to even attempt to ride it. I was not expecting her to run to the top and just slide down it without any hesitation. I was shocked quite frankly. It was wonderful and is probably the most fun playground that I've seen so far in the Republic of Korea.

There are some very simple and non dangerous steps up to the top where the tube is located. There is a looking window and lots of rails so no one can fall off, even a three year old.

For the younger kids there is a side slide that has some bumps in it. I think this is the first time I've come across a bumpy slide here.

A closer picture of the tube that does a 720 spin down to the bottom.

A simple rope bridge that she was able to master a month ago.

A wider shot of the whole playground from the opposite side.

Basically, a nonfunctional teeter-totter that I've seen before. It looks neat, but not popular.

No playground is complete with springy chairs. My daughter likes them for about 20 seconds each time we see them. Maybe she'll like them when she's a little older, but I remember also not caring for them when I was a child.

Lastly, the most important park feature. The place where I can sit down with my coffee and take pictures and write on my phone, while she drains all her energy out.

Thanks for reading! This is part 7 of my journey to 100 playgrounds. This is still within walking distance of our condo. It is also right by a classroom window that we accidentally walked by, since they just rent buildings to school children here.
