Today is a special day, one of those unique ones. I've mentioned in my other posts that I work as a security guard and usually work the night shift. It's been a while since I've had a day off where I didn't feel so tired, and today is one of those, so I decided to go out with my princess, Sofia. The men of the house will have to stay home this time. This day is just for the two of us.
Sometimes, in the midst of the daily routine, it's easy to forget how important it is to spend quality time with our loved ones. My job is a little stressful, but it provides the income I need for my children. It's a bit difficult; however, I'm trying to make it worth it.
After preparing breakfast and dropping Dad off at home with Santiago, our youngest son, we put on our jackets and headed out to enjoy some mother-daughter time.
We didn't go far; our trip consisted of going out to a place called Los Guayos Viejos, which is the most central place in town. We went to buy some things for the market, walked through some stores to buy some clips to make hair ornaments for my daughter, and went to a bakery to buy cookies and bread. The day was rainy, so we couldn't eat ice cream for fear of my daughter catching a cold, but the cookies for her and my baby Santiago were already bought.
After a while, we left before the rain got heavier, did our shopping, and shared a special moment.

Hoy es un día especial, uno de esos que son únicos, en mis otras publicaciones he comentado que trabajo de vigilante y comúnmente es en el turno de la noche. Tenía tiempo sin un día libre en el que no me sintiera tan cansada y hoy es uno de esos, por eso decidí tener una salida con mi princesa Sofía. A los hombres de la casa les tocará quedarse esta vez. Después de preparar el desayuno y dejar a papá en casa con Santiago, nuestro hijo más pequeño, nos pusimos nuestras chaquetas y salimos a disfrutar de un momento entre mamá e hija.
No fuimos muy lejos, nuestro paseo consistió en salir a un sitio que lo llaman los Guayos Viejos, es como decir el lugar más céntrico del pueblo, fuimos a comprar unas cosas para el mercado, caminamos algunas tiendas para comprar unos ganchos para hacerle adornitos para el cabello a mi hija y fuimos a una panadería a comprar galletas y pan. El día estaba lluvioso así que no pudimos comer helado por temor a que mi hija se refriara, pero sus galletas para ella y mi bebé Santiago ya estaban compradas.
Al rato nos fuimos antes de que lloviznara más fuerte, hicimos nuestras compras y compartimos un momento especial.
