Last year March 25th i delivered my second born daughter and with the overwhelming responsibility of having to run the home my husband and i decided its time we hired a house help to help around the house and also run school errands for our first born daughter.
We luckily or unluckily found a help, keeping in mind shes is equally a mother i saw so relxed that my new born baby will be safe and it will be easy for me to start job hunting once she is around three months to have me get back on track with my career.
When my baby turned 4months she developed oral rash ,her mouth was covered in white and yellow thickish items especially on the toung and throat area which made it hard for her to suck easily, we took her to the hospital and they gave us medication without running any tests saying kids at times have such type of rash.
We came back home and after two weeks their was still no improvement,i thought to my self that i should probably change hospitals and get a second opinion.
Before the date i scheduled for the appointment,i went out to buy diapers and milk for the baby and upon my return my 8 year old daughter run to me telling me the house help was putting her mouth on the babies bottle to feel if the milk was warm enough for the baby to drink .
I almost lost my balance ,i could not believe my ears .upon asking her she admitted she always put the babies bottle in her mouth to assertain if the milk was warm enough for the baby to take because she didn't trust the method of pouring the milk on her hand.
I expressed my disappointment to her knowing fully well she is a mother and understood how fragile children are in cathing sickness, i asked her if she didn't see how the baby was struggling to suck because of what was going on and she maintained her silence.
I didn't see the need to keep her after this incident and when we went back to the hospital we explained our experience with the house help making the Dr change ber medication and she was okay within five days.
As we leave our babies with their nannies let us ensure we orient them enough on hygiene,i
was relaxed because i felt she was a mother a new better.
That is very nice, how is she doing?
She is fully recovered now and with the new help I ensure I orient them properly
Good of you dear
