Early on a foggy morn I awake to a world filled with a hazy fog.
I stretch out of my tent and look out onto that fog with the thought of venturing into that unknown.
With the visibility shocking up the mountain I decide to head down into the valley and see if there is a clearing in the fog to at least let me see where I am and where I am going.
As I venture on the path, top my right I notice there is a creek there so I start to investigate it.
You never know what you find when little inquisitive thoughts are followed.
There is no safe path to cross as the creek is deep and muddy so I decide to just wander on the left side of the creek and it did not disappoint me with a find. Not sure what they are but they are gorgeous.
With a delicate stem they rise up from the ground. They are both small yet their yellow colour is striking. I dare not touch them or try them.
If unknown leave well alone.
Further up the track I spot these little ones.
Again I am not familiar with these little ones so I leave them alone. The orange are very strong.
By this time however the fog has started to clear and I spot these three kangaroos in the distance. They just stand there looking back at me while I look at them,
As I look away from them I see these blooms.
The blooms are tiny and it took me a lot of tries to capture them clearly on my phone. I must've taken over ten attempts but I am still not sure if I have a clear enough picture.
Then as I decide to start heading back up to my camp site I spot these.
I was surprised by this little guy. The sheen on the top caught my eye. With about ten plus attempts I managed to take a clear enough shot of it. After taking enough I head back up.
Arriving to the peak I see the fog has retreated. Later on the day this is the view to end the day.
Beautiful Mashroom
Thank you very much.
The last one looks alot like the lobster mushrooms I find over here though yours is not orange and seems to be infected by a white version of lobster fungi... Basically its a white Russula that gets infected by another fungi and deforms it into that shape. Keep an eye out in that area maybe you will find some orange lobster fungi. Here's what mine look like.
Cheers for that.
I will keep looking.
