Hello Mushroom Lovers.
Today I was again treated to reishi mushrooms. These mushrooms are easy to find and they tend to grow differently in different climates. But the health benefits are no different. Since hundreds of years, reishi mushrooms have been widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. The benefits of this mushroom are very large for some cases of disease. But the problem with this mushroom is that it cannot be directly prescribed in cooking.

Reishi mushrooms grow back horizontally on dead wood. A few months ago I had harvested it. Today I re-pick some of them. I have to dry the mushrooms. When the mushrooms are dry, cut them into pieces and boil them in hot water for 1 hour. Reishi boiled water is drinkable but has a bitter taste. To get rid of the bitter taste can be done with a combination of a little honey and lemon.

The flesh of this mushroom is exactly cork and has a tough outer skin that makes it difficult to cook. I have prepared this mushroom for the needs of traditional medicine. I'm planning to make a capsule. This is one way that is more practical and does not have a bitter taste.

Powdering and putting in capsules is one way of using it. Another way is to boil it for a long time as a tea then mix it with a tea that tastes good to hide the bitter taste.

Thank you brother @sketch.and.jam , I have prepared empty capsules for more practicality. I was inspired a lot from posts, especially in the mushroom community. it turns out that mushrooms not only contribute to the beauty of the stem structure. but it has tremendous benefits for people all over the world.
