OMG!
😱
Kitchen waste!
Gotta take a walk down into the garden!
On my way.
Passing by Europe.
Nothing to see here really.
Lied, there is a lot to see but unfortunately not for you right now 😅 .
Walking down further into the abyss!
Dark stairwells I have to cross.
Made it to heavens gate!
The compost is near and questions arise.
Like "What will be behind the door"?
Shock!
Cold, moist, unspectacular grey!
Fallen leaves, fading colors, random scenery!
Christmas around the corner!
☝️ But Then!
A color!
Life feeding on the possibilities given!
Fungi to the mood rescue!
Philosophical contemplations...
Is it coincidence that the slug has the same color as the fungi she is feeding off?
Will mushrooms take over the world?
Am I the only one thinking that this slug is super cute and is orange the new grey?
In contemplation the...
...kitchen waste made it on the compost!
A ton of fungi having a blast now 😉 ...

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
😄 Glad you liked my take on it and I totally understand what you are saying regarding exploring the world virtually here. In times where traveling becomes a little bit of a hassle it is at least nice to participate in other ppls lives online. Have a great weekend :)

While reading I kept thinking, that mushroom has something that looks like a slug hanging off of it. Well, it is a slug, and you're right, there's no way the color similarities are a coincidence.
Lol and nature is beautiful isn't she? I wished humans would become more natural again. Hugs to your family and I just caught up on you guys leaving finally. Happy for you and I wish you a safe transition 🤗 .
the post supported by FL community account. a great horror story with good fighting over bad, and a happy end. ty!

Glad it amused you...mission accomplished 😄
love the post! a good wednesday walk really dont need to travel to the best fashionable parade historical city districts! the story can be told even walking between the kitchen and a waste. you are my hero today.
needless to say you've found an exceptional edition of a slug, and I happy you brought this stuff to FL community
:P
I hope others will appreciate it as well. (tho it is less usual, you know... everyone is an author, nobody is a reader, hehe).

Awwww that is so nice of you. People have ordinary lives, esp. these days as society is still in grips of Corona. I guess most of the people struggle to get their basic shit financed in any way. Always being able to show off touristy stuff is a matter of location. I have to drive to reach picturesque city districts of any kind but yah, these days we think twice driving just for fun. Gas prices going to the moon here 😅 . Oh well, rambling lol, happy you liked the little cheer up post 😄
Fungi always to the rescue and yes I would love to see them take over the world, although they do cover the earth, the mycelium anyhow. xxxx
I recently watched a doc on fungi and how they are connected to life period. It is said that without them no life would be possible. Ahhh, amazing nature :).
Mushrooms are amazing, I have always been fascinated with them and the role they play in keeping the earth in balance. xxxx
