Last Wednesday I had many opportunities to do hunting of wild mushrooms along the plantations owned by villagers around the rice fields and not far from my house.

I did this mushroom hunting between morning and noon, I spent a little time in the middle of that time, the oil palm land looks a bit wide and I really hope to get some snaps of wild mushrooms around the oil palm fields.

As usual, in hunting for photography subjects in an open environment, I am quite careful while paying attention to every corner of the oil palm plantation in hopes of getting some shots of mushrooms that may be around the garden. Then in the south bordering this garden I saw a piece of fungus growing on a rotten wood, the fungus looks quite interesting ,here you can see some snaps of this fungus.

This mushroom has a structure that looks very sturdy with two colors which looks quite interesting in the scientific explanation that this mushroom is a type of mushroom Fomitopsis pinicola, is a stem rot fungus commonly found on softwood and hardwood trees.

After I got some pictures of the fungus and the sunlight started to sting a little, I decided to continue looking for other mushrooms in the empty garden filled with grass adjacent to this oil palm garden and after I circled the garden, I did not find any mushrooms there and finally I returned home.

On the way home by taking a path in the grassy area on the edge of the rice fields, I saw small mushroom seeds growing on the wood on the edge of the irrigation, here you can see some snaps of these mushrooms.
