Looks like the cut grass exposed the mushrooms and showed them the world. The place I shot those normally has long forgotten weeds full of wildflowers, bees and birds. I can only guess the amount of mushrooms hiding there, but it is just impossible for me to find them.
Once in a while the city hall takes care of all those areas and cuts the grass really, really short! Then the mushrooms pop.
For a short period of time.
There was so many of those growing around. Quite big, pearly white with silky smooth hats. Really pretty looking among all the green.
I shot those in December when the weather is mild and rainy. Happy mushroom time :)
Bonus shots:
Once in a while it is also good to look up. The mild early winter is like fall and some trees didn't lose all their leaves yet. This is Ginkgo biloba tree with the most lovely yellow leaves! There is a few of them around and I just love their autumn look.
My contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
I hope many of you will join as there are only 2 simple rules:
- when Friday comes post your own, original photo/drawing/art/food/anything-at-all of any type of fungi (yes, I will check and report stolen images!)
- add #FungiFriday tag (it doesn't have to be your first tag)
That's all :)

Ginkgo is a very intresting tree. i wish there were some around my place, but... normally they dont occure at such northern areas. you have a treasure!
Yea... I don't recall seeing them in Poland. Here there is a few of them around my place. They do seem popular to grow in parks.
Beautiful fungi wearing satin nightgown! Those golden leaves are mesmerizing. I wish I had this tree on my land.
I probably woke them up :D
The tree is really nice! Love them.
That mushroom was very well taken care of by the grass, it looks very vibrant it seems silver in color I don't know if it is the sunlight or its original color.
It is the colour. It's almost white and reflects the light.
How interesting, you have a valuable mushroom, great satin color.
Familiar mushrooms, similar to (Entoloma clypeatum), perhaps even they, just in the forest they are darker and the leg is thicker)
Or maybe others, it's not clear ...)
They do look similar.. The one you mention seem a bit darker though..
I am terrible with identifying mushrooms, so can't tell what they are :p
Well, they are very similar)
Very gentle colors, beautiful trees and mushrooms. Nice photos!:)
Thanks!
This tiny mushroom looks very pretty and cool .....
Thank you :)
