probably everyone remembers pictures from children's books: a squirrel with a mushroom in its paws makes supplies for the winter, a hedgehog busily drags a load of mushrooms attached to its needles. Exceptional post from @apnigrich, Russia shows this is not purely a fantasy of artists -- but reality. Dont miss those great captures!
@funferall took us on a trip to Maine, with a lots of mushroom encounters at a beautiful trail: hemlock, birch, and pines with lots of fern and moss cover. Lovely visuals!
@teungkulik from Aceh presented us irresistible beauty of a well known Coprinellus mushroom.
More irresistible fungi macro cuteness from Aceh forest by @teungkulik. Those mushrooms do look like an 'earth corals'. Fungi weirdness and beauty as it is!
@idayrus tried to capture the beauty of a wilted Split gill mushroom (which have been featured, I guess, in every third post here. the true champion!). Isnt it too many?
@alechi brought in pictures of a 1st grade edible Orange-cap Boleto.
@didivelikova's first post to the community. Meet a new setero from Bulgaria!
More irresistible fungi macro cuteness from Aceh forest by @jasonmunapasee -- the macros of those mushrooms always look great, they resemble the exquisite work of a jeweler.
@jasonmunapasee found some Coprinus mushrooms that try to settle upon a dead wood -- look very cool.
Exceptional, exemplary post from @funferall for #mushroommonday with possible identification of found species and great biodiversity. Beware: its a longread with a lot of pictures!
@darine.darine shared the biodivercity of Ukrainian forests. Marvelous puff-balls and Umbrellas!
And the last blog for today's digest is by @lilideleopolis, from her #fungifriday walk at Carpathian forest. Beautiful nature visuals.
And a little reminder. We still have this #FungiFriday fun challenge.
I hope many of you will join, as there are only 2 simple rules:
- when Friday comes, share your fungi with us! post your own, original photo/drawing/art/food/anything-at-all of any type of fungi (yes, stolen images will be checked and reported !)
- add #fungifriday (not necessarily must be your 1st tag).
- post any community you like, not necessarily FL. that's all!
Yay! 🤗

Thank you so much for the mention, I am very happy this community was created and I can be part of it. I've learned so much since I am on Hive and in Fungi Lovers, and its been just since September 😊
