This genus consists of various types of mushrooms that are beautiful and interesting to observe.
One example of a fungus in the genus Lepiota is the Parasol Mushroom (Lepiota procera). This mushroom has a simple, circular cap, with a white or brown color. The stem of the mushroom is long and slender, making it look like an umbrella.
