Fungi Lovers | Tell Me for This Red Mushroom

in Fungi Lovers3 years ago (edited)

Being a fungi lover is sure to have a lot of knowledge about the benefits and names of all the mushrooms you've ever encountered.

I would like to know from you true Fungi lovers, for the name of this mushroom.

I took this photo when I was walking in the forest with friends who were doing their expeditions on illegal logging

This mushroom really stole my attention when I passed it, it was so red and bright as if it was giving us directions.

it will also apply to you if you are here. I wonder if this mushroom has a name or other use for humans, or if it lives only to beautify the forest with its colors.

Unfortunately I don't take many photos from various angles, the fungus grows around the roots of the tree roots which are very moist and covered in trees in the forest, by looking at it you will feel enchanted because of its beauty.

And not only me, my friends are also very enthusiastic about photographing this mushroom, while talking about the name of this mushroom and not one person knows its name.

and I want Fungi Lovers to answer that question, because I think someone knows the name of this mushroom, actually I can also find out what the name of this mushroom is if I force it without having to ask, but it makes my curiosity not exciting.

I would have thought they were waxy caps at first, but since they are growing out of dead wood they remind me more of mycena. Though I've never seen a mycena that red the closest color I've seen that bright is Mycena leaiana but it is orange. You may have to consult a local expert to let us know the true identity.

Thanks for your answer..i really appreciate this answer...

its hard to say, there are 7 billions of fungi species.
besides that, we live in a cruel world, where each information costs money and isnt for free :P

😜

if so it will be very difficult for a poor person like me to find out from the experts..hahaha

probably! there are a few experts here who are good at deducing iDs, but mostly we know the species for the northern hemisphere, europe, middle-area US, etc. the rainforests of Aceh is totally different deal, here we cant name the names. cheers!

PS> what the #palnet tag is about?..

I just followed what people were doing without figuring out what the tag was for..

uh, I figured out that ;)

frankly speaking, this tag will be totally useless for you, I afraid. too long to describe why :)
if you check your wallet, there is second section of the wallet, dedicated to other tokens (not the hive token). one of these tokens is PAL... another token is NEOXAG (you used #neoxian tag to farm it) . etc. no need actually to farm them - those tokens do not cost a lot.... 😺
