Mushrooms at the beginning of the rainy season in September

in Fungi Lovers2 years ago (edited)

Hi Hive Lovers

This is the first time I'm sharing a post about mushrooms here and I purposely took a Friday moment as the time for mushrooms to roam here.

The rainy season has returned, and all areas are wet and humid. At this time all the humid inhabitants began to appear. This is a good time to open our eyes wide to see the mushrooms popping up.

They thrive in all areas. But you will only find them if you really open your eyes. If it's in my area, you don't necessarily have to go into the wilderness to find them.

I found several different molds and just an inch from my bed, they literally popped up all around my house. There are several types with different shapes, but I don't know them at all. Here they are:

(1) These are mushrooms growing on old bamboo stalks, the striking yellow color has caught my eye, and they grow in rows in a small longitudinal slit. The shapes aren't fully grown, I'm just guessing because of their size.

(2) The following is “toadstool” I call it because of its umbrella-like shape. They grow individually in the grass garden next to my house. I know this because I want to water the garden grass that is not getting rained on and if I don't crouch, then I can't see them because of their very small size, the macro model camera is very helpful. you can see it clearly here.

(3) The following is also a “toadstool” that grows in clusters on a pile of wet leaf litter. This cluster of mushrooms has a dark brown color at the top. Several other new mushroom shoots have also sprung up in the vicinity.

(4) While this one is a bunch of white mushrooms that are spore-shaped, I don't know if they deserve to be called mushrooms. I found them on pieces of old wood branches wet from the rain that was starting to rot.

(5) While the latter is a fungus attached to the branch of the old wood as well. They really stick tight and have no stems at all, really? The only visible fiber is like a mini tree that has a pattern of roots and stems and continues to elongate. Only because they are white, then I can tell their whereabouts there.

I took all these photos around my house using macro mode on my #SamsungA52 cell phone camera.

If I toured a little more, I might find some other humid area dwellers. But, I won't, because this Friday is really wet. Maybe the rain will continue for the next few weeks and that is new hope for the emergence of other mushrooms.
