RE: Sacred Bee Medicine

in Fungi Lovers2 years ago

Well I suppose you have not read the post fully? The medicinal power of mycelia and its mushrooms, the only antidote proven as of today to help Bees survive without any chemical interventions, which challenges all mainstream narrative concerning beekeeping. Although I was not able to shoot own pictures of mushrooms, I felt interesting to share to fungi lovers, as this has serious and potent implications.

Sort:

all of this blog is 2114 words. fungus, fungi -> has zero appearances.
the word 'mushroom' was used 16 times in a very general context:

The bee is the analog of the mushroom in its divine task of bridging the earth with the celestial realm for the former...

Mycellia has been found to be the best medicine for bees to date.

the best decomposition and rebirthing of organic matter by the mycelia.

we expanded our mushroom growing area so that they can also get their medicine straight from the mycelia.

Paul Stamets has observed individual bees sucking on the mycelia of his mushroom garden

(mycelia is underground invisible part of fungus, like roots of a plant; I wonder how one, at all, can see this -- bees sucking mycellium?..)

In my opinion, this post is definitely about the bees... with a little broader fungi context -- but without any useful and specific info. I also doubt that 'mushroom juices' info can be useful for bee holders, as there is no specipic, certain info here: what fungi species exactly? where to find them? how to make sure the bees will benefit from them, and not vice versa.

Some specific fungi flourish on the insect corpses, you know. They can decompost and utilize everything, probably including the bees and their larvaes too.

For our bee colonies, we were amazed by the research of Paul Stamets and his discoveries about the strong bond between bees and mushroom, and having soaked in many of his presentations and interviews, we decided to experiment with his findings and prepare a formula with Reishi medicinal mushroom, to activate their detoxification pathways to strengthen their individual and collective immunity.
For those who are curious you can read @ravenking13 's article HERE.

"Curious", which means for those who want to know more about this as @ravenking13 already wrote an article about the preparation details.

What exactly is the matter? I have cross-posted with disclaiming right away this may be a different perspective but how mushroom can be medicine and felt like sharing, since if there is a subject or organism I am a 'lover' of, I would be very enthusiastic about knowing it has properties I had not even imagined. Or has anybody else in that community mentioned such incredible scientific findings?

Was not aware this is supposed to be a fungi fanclub without real-life contemplations about the power of fungi, mycelia, mushrooms?

If so, please remind me of your group-rules so I can clearly understand what not to post here.

Have a blessed day

No special rules applied, everything is reasonable: x-posting allowed, any language allowed, stories, photos, art, home-growing experience, cooking recipes are welcomed. Ofc it is supposed the fungi are the main topic. 🙏
