They are nasty slugs. They spoiled a lot of good mushrooms this year.
In theory dehydrated slugs are edible too in a survivalist scenario.
... I agree, like washed earthworms :D
Haha I've eaten earthworms in an omelette before, couldn't even tell they were in there.
