Hey mate! Thanks for popping by and sharing that link. Awesome to get your comment. Very true. At times a long stick isn't enough. I wonder what's lurking on tree dead Barks I never pay attention to. As I said, @tandava actually discovered it and she's awesome with the herbs. Makes great teas, dries flowers, mushrooms and is a quite good companion while hunting. She made me some caramelised spruce this spring and I introduced her to hive. I hope she will start posting some of her amazing journeys with herbs and foraging. My last find was just because she pointed out to look up too. Mushroom hunting is a really great way to train ones eyes.

Yeah if you find yourself in a birch forest you have to lookup a lot for chaga, most of it is out of reach but it is a really good medicinal mushroom.
