Але тоді в лісі мені та моїм друзям траплялися не лише білі гриби, козарі та червоноголовці. Зараз осінь, а це найкраща пора для опеньків, справжніх і не тільки.

At first we came across single and combined in small groups honey mushrooms (Armillaria mellea). But then we went out on the lawn and saw a real jackpot, which, unfortunately, we did not win 😥. Another fungus was already standing near the large stump completely covered with young honey mushrooms. This wonderful find belonged to him, that is, according to unwritten rules, he had the right to cut all the mushrooms from the stump himself. I just asked permission to take a picture of this incredible stump.	Спочатку нам траплялися поодинокі та поєднані у невеликі групи опеньки (Armillaria mellea). Але потім ми вийшли на галявину і побачили справжній джекпот, який виграли, на жаль, не ми 😥. Біля повністю вкритого молодими опеньками великого пенька вже стояв інший грибник. Ця чудова знахідка належала йому, тобто за неписаними правилами він мав право зрізати всі гриби з пенька сам. Я лише попросив дозволу сфотографувати цей неймовірний пеньок.

Спочатку нам траплялися поодинокі та поєднані у невеликі групи опеньки (Armillaria mellea). Але потім ми вийшли на галявину і побачили справжній джекпот, який виграли, на жаль, не ми 😥. Біля повністю вкритого молодими опеньками великого пенька вже стояв інший грибник. Ця чудова знахідка належала йому, тобто за неписаними правилами він мав право зрізати всі гриби з пенька сам. Я лише попросив дозволу сфотографувати цей неймовірний пеньок.

While I was photographing the first stump with mushrooms, this man found another stump with honey mushrooms, a little smaller.	Поки я фотографував перший пеньок з грибами, цей чоловік трохи далі знайшов ще один пень з опеньками, дещо меншого розміру.

However, I and my friends were also lucky, we also found a similar stump with honeysuckle. And I came across honeysuckle growing from below under the trunk of a tree that fell to the ground.	Проте мені та моїм друзям також пощастило, ми також знайшли подібний пеньок з опеньками. А ще я натрапив на опеньки росли знизу під стовбуром дерева, котре впало на землю.

However, inexperienced mushroom pickers need to be careful, because, in addition to edible honey mushrooms (Armillaria mellea) in the forest can also come across poisonous false honey mushrooms (Hypholoma fasciculare). How to distinguish them? I will be engaged in self-citation (I once wrote about it post): Hypholoma fasciculare is sometimes mistaken for a real honey mushrooms (Armillaria mellea), but they differ from the real honeysuckle by the green color of the plates and the yellow cap (it is light brown in honey mushrooms). And fake honey mushrooms has an unpleasant odor. However, in my photos Hypholoma fasciculare are already old, so their caps are no longer yellow, but rather dirty brown.	Проте малодосвідченим грибникам потрібно бути обережними, бо, крім їстівних опеньків (Armillaria mellea) у лісі також можна натрапити на отруйні несправжні опеньки (Hypholoma fasciculare). Як їх розрізнити? Займуся самоцитуванням (я вже колись писав про це пост): Опеньок сірчано-жовтий іноді помилково приймають за опеньок справжній, проте він відрізняється від справжнього опенька зеленим кольором пластинок та жовтою шапинкою (у справжнього вона світло-коричнева). А ще несправжній опеньок має неприємний запах. Щоправда на моїх фото Hypholoma fasciculare вже старі, то ж їхні шапинки вже не жовті, а радше брудно-коричневі.

Проте малодосвідченим грибникам потрібно бути обережними, бо, крім їстівних опеньків (Armillaria mellea) у лісі також можна натрапити на отруйні несправжні опеньки (Hypholoma fasciculare). Як їх розрізнити? Everything is honest😀. It's just that I probably confused you a bit)))
the first photos show real honey mushrooms, which are edible and it is a really good wish to find a whole stump covered with such mushrooms. And the photos at the end of the post show poisonous mushrooms that are not related to honey mushrooms, but somewhat similar to them. Because of this, they are popularly called "false" honey mushrooms. But they are poisonous. In my garden grow poisonous false honey mushrooms))
