| I have an old pear deck in the garden. We used to use it to chop firewood while it was strong. Now this deck has become completely rotten and this largely was contributed to this Trametes versicolor, a fungus from the family Trametes. Trametes covered the surface of the log with an almost continuous layer. Despite the damage this mushroom has done to wood, it looks very beautiful. I like the name of this mushroom in English literature - "turkey tail" 😄. Trametes versicolor really looks like a turkey tail in a loose state))) I took a few photos of this mushroom and want to share them with you, friends. Here they are: | У мене в саду є стара грушева колода. Раніше ми використовували її для того, щоб колоти дрова, поки вона була міцна. Зараз ця колода стала вже зовсім трухлявою і значною мірою цьому посприяв Траметес різнобарвний (Trametes versicolor), гриб з родини трутовиків. Трутовик вкрив поверхню колоди майже суцільним шаром. Не зважаючи на шкоду, якої цей гриб завдав деревині, він виглядає дуже красивим. Мені подобається назва цього гриба в англомовній літературі - "хвіст індика" 😄.
