I just realized that Solstice is called Winter Solstice Festival in Asia, or the "Chinese Thanksgiving" or Dongzhi Festival. Families get together on this day, making and eating sweet rice balls dessert (tang yuan in Mandarin or tong sui in Cantonese). I'm not Chinese but I celebrate it together with my Chinese friends 😃
