Hello community!! I recently had one of the most exciting excursions and I want to share it with you. In my last posts from a few months ago you could see that I was starting to climb mountains, today my resistance has improved considerably, allowing me to do longer excursions that require greater physical and cardiovascular conditions.
Hola comunidad !! recientemente tuve una de las excursiones más emocionantes y quiero compartirla con ustedes. En mis últimas publicaciones de hace algunos meses pudieron ver que estaba comenzando a subir montañas, al día de hoy mi resistencia ha mejorado considerablemente permitiéndome hacer excursiones más largas y que requieren mayores condiciones físicas y cardiovasculares.
This excursion was to the Manuel Ángel González Falls, this is located in Guatire, Miranda state, Venezuela. All pictures you are going to see were taken by myself with my phone and some of them were taken by my friends.
Esta excursión fue hacia el Salto Manuel Ángel González, que queda ubicado en Guatire, estado Miranda, Venezuela. Todas las fotos que van a ver fueron tomadas algunas por mi y otras por mis amigos de la excursión.
This waterfall was discovered just last year, the story says that on the road to this place lived a man who survived from hunting animals and was a bit of a curmudgeon, he did not let anyone approach this road and since he was armed, the scouts did not go beyond his property. When they died, we were given the opportunity to explore beyond this site and discovered this beautiful waterfall.
Este salto fue descubierto apenas el año pasado, el cuento dice que en el camino hacia este lugar vivió un señor que sobrevivía de la caza de animales y era un poco cascarrabias, no dejaba que nadie se acercara en este camino y como estaba armado los exploradores no pasaban más allá de su propiedad. Al morir, se dió la oportunidad de explorar más allá de este sitio y descubrieron esta hermosa cascada.
The tour takes 3 hours uphill and once in the waterfall a height of up to 800 meters is reached, although it is only 5 kilometers as it is going uphill it takes more time and effort. In the following image you will see the total time and total mileage of the journey, but I paused the application when I arrived and bathed and then started it again when the return journey began, so the total time up and down was 6 hours. But if we take into account the time we were up there was a total of 8 hours of excursion.
El recorrido se hace en un tiempo de 3 horas cuesta arriba y una vez en la cascada se alcanza una altura de hasta 800 metros, aunque son sólo 5 kilómetros al ser en subida toma más tiempo y esfuerzo. En la siguiente imágen van a ver el tiempo total y kilometraje total de recorrido, pero yo pausé la cuenta al llegar y bañarme y luego lo volví a iniciar al bajar, entonces el tiempo total de subida y bajada fueron 6hs pero si tomamos en cuenta el tiempo que estuvimos arriba fueron 8hs en total de excursión.
We meet at 7:30 am at the entrance of the river, since the way up starts following the Pacairigua River. There we warmed up and made sure we had everything we needed.
Our guides who work with nature, preserving and rescuing animals, taught us many things along the way and also brought an anteater to return it to its natural habitat.
Nos reunimos a las 7:30 am en la entrada del río, pues el camino hacia arriba inicia siguiendo el Río Pacairigua. Allí hicimos un calentamiento y nos aseguramos de tener todo lo necesario.
Nuestros guías quienes trabajan con la naturaleza, preservando y rescatando animales, nos enseñaron muchas cosas en el camino y además llevaban un oso hormiguero para devolverlo a su habitad natural.

We arrived at the waterfall at approximately 11:30 am in the morning after a long and tiring walk, I swear, my legs were shaking but without stopping I advanced until we reached it.
Llegamos a la cascada aproximadamente a las 11:30 am de la mañana luego de una larga y cansada caminata, les juro, mis piernas estaban temblando pero sin parar avancé hasta llegar.

en esta fotografía pueden ver a nuestros guías (los dos sujetos de camisa naranja) también estan mis dos amigas, mi mamá y yo.
Once up, I felt grateful for finding myself in front of such an impressive and beautiful waterfall. Of course I bathed in its waters too, although I'm not lying to you it was ICE COLD, I couldn't stand being there for a long time so I soon left and shared a meal with all the members of the excursion.
Una vez arriba me sentía agradecida por encontrarme ante una cascada tan imponente y hermosa. Por supuesto me bañé en sus aguas también, aunque no les miento era HELADA, no soporté estar mucho tiempo asi que muy pronto me salí y compartimos una comida con todos los miembros de la excursión.

We got ready to go down at about 1pm to be able to take advantage of daylight on the way back. Going down I began to feel much more tired in my legs, but I was happy with everything I had experienced. The road was fast for me because it was almost always going downhill... I forgot to mention that the whole road is along the edge of the mountains listening to the river.
I got home at 5pm.
I still dream about that excursion and how beautiful it was. If you like hiking and adventure and you ever come to Venezuela, you should come to this place.

Nos dispusimos a bajar a eso de la 1pm para poder aprovechar la luz del día en el camino de regreso. Bajando ya comencé a sentir mucho más cansancio en mis piernas, pero estaba feliz de todo lo que había vivido. El camino se me hizo rápido porque era de bajada casi siempre… Se me olvidó mencionarles que todo el camino es a la orilla de las montañas escuchando el río.
Llegué a mi casa las 5pm.
Aún sueño con esa excursión y lo bonito que fue. Si te gusta el senderismo y la aventura y alguna vez vienes a Venezuela, deberías venir a este lugar.

The waterfall is very interesting, the scenery is beautiful and the meat of all my friends, especially I like the brightly colored butterflies and want to see it again.good luck in new year good friend.
