This really looks like a peacefull place!
that really doesn't sound like a great experience, especially because you have a right to be paid... not to mention, no one should be treated like that. I think it's a good way to write about it, it gives a clearer head from time to time. I try to keep people who treat other people like that out of my life as much as possible, but unfortunately that doesn't always work. I think everyone has had such an experience in his life, some more, some less. some don't think about it the next day, others still for years (unfortunately I belong to this kind, but that just shows that you are sensitive and that is nothing bad in itself;). i hope you were able to recover well on your beach day with your friend. I used to let people even treat me that way and just stayed either at a workplace or friendship. As I got older and started doing my self-development and self-discovery, I became really good with not putting up with it anymore, not for long anyway. I definitely don't allow bullying, screaming and yelling near me, I want to be in a peaceful environment. So in this case, walking out was my only option, especially as I didn't do anything wrong, just wanted to get paid which is rightfully mine. I kinda feel bad for the lady, she seems to have some inner demons to deal with, which is what made her the way she is. But that's on her to fix it, bullying, putting others down wont get her far.
Yes, I have the overthinking brain too, it's such a curse, wish I could just forget about it the next day but oh well, I've learned to accept myself the way I am. Yes, recovering well, this week is full of sunshine over here and warm sunny days finally arrived so am spending lots of time in nature .
