Being a mom could be very tasking. Motherhood often include a lot of challenges which most women usually aren't prepared for the crisis that may follow.
Being a mom in quarantine could be a heart breaking experience especially when you have kids, you are now stuck at home 24/7, sometimes you feel like you are losing your mind, providing your educational assistance , keeping the house reasonable clean, preparing meals for the entire family could be very exhausting.
Setting Goals
It is important to set obtainable goals as a mother, the house chores are never really exhausted. As a mom, waking up early was a routine until during the quarantine. The consciousness of not doing to work set in and I could hardly wake up as early as I have always done.
House chores like cooking, bathing the kids does not really need a scrutinized plan, except for chores like washing clothes, bath rooms and major house cleanings, that are not done every day.
In other not to pile up work, I tried as much as possible to avoid procrastination, in other not to forgot, it’s often advised you add them to the routine.
Some people find it useful to add fun to a cleaning routine. Go ahead, turn up the music and dance through your chores. No one's watching and time will fly by much faster.
Sharing Responsibilities with My Spouse
Not every household has two parents, but if you and your partner are parenting in the same house, now’s the time for sharing the domestic load. Take turns watching the kids solo so you each have a chance to relax. It is always fun if he is willing to help.
Dealing with Stress
After the stressful day taking care of the house, there is need as a mother to de-stress and prepare for the day ahead. As a mother, making sure my kids go to bed is a better way to deal stress as that end the stress for the day. Enough sleep is needed to help deal with stress as well. Though different mother with their method of relieving stress.
As a way of releasing stress, a good music on the background is usually a good idea for me.
